We still have a complete game from when I got it for Christmas in nineteen seventy something. My son enjoyed playing it as much as I did when I was a kid and now my young grandchildren are loving it too.

Me too, that and the erector set. One of crowning achievements as a lad was changing the gearing and getting Mr. Machine to walk backwards.

On the other hand, what's the use of a toy on the year you were born? Should have been the year you turned 6 or 7...

I just recall one that made edible stuff like spiders and there was a toy that cast creepy non edible figures.

However, my Dad and I did get my first electric train that year.

Still have it. Still run it with my grandsons every Christmas. Smoke and whistle still work.
