First Lady Melania Trump glowed in a vibrant pop-of-color for her visit with children of military families at a “Toys for Tots” event at the Joint Base Acostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.
Melania chose an emerald green, wool Prada coat for her visit with the military kids, pairing the vivid top with khaki-toned J Brand jeans and matching nearly-knee-high leather boots.
The Prada coat is made in Italy and features six oversized buttons and a giant, waist-cinching belt buckle, a favorite silhouette of Melania’s.

Neither here or there... but I really like how the first lady will wear “pretty but attainable” fashion for some events (less formal, of course) and gorgeous evening wear for formal events. Any Freeper lady can find a similar coat (may not be the brand but the look), leggings and boots in many, many places. In my opinion, I always found truly fashionable people have the ability to match clothes together so it looks classy and nice. :)
Note: leggings or jeggings... I can’t tell in the pics.

Do you check out the Daily Mail articles that show the celebrity - Melania or whoever - in their outfits and then they show a selection of similar looking clothes for a lot less money?

Yes ladies, for pennies on the dollar you too can dress like our Beautiful and Gracious First Lady Melania Trump!
The lady is very secure in her image of herself and her beauty.
She doesn’t need to constantly wear clothes unattainable by the average person to buttress her self image...she KNOWS who she is.
It helps that she has a classic sense of style to go with her classic beauty.
She certainly does. She is always beautiful; but, when she encounters children, she just lights up. Genuine love and affection for children.
I haven’t checked out the Daily Mail but one of my magazines have something similar (TBH... it is “look alike” for the celebrities not the first lady). I think once you see something you really like.. you can find it elsewhere on our budget. Now... I love the coat. I can’t wear a tie around the waist... my birthing hips just don’t allow it. :) There hasn’t been one outfit yet that she hasn’t looked fantastic in.
