Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein said on Sunday that the numerous investigations into Russian meddling in the 2016 election are beginning to build an obstruction of justice case against President Trump.
The [Senate] Judiciary Committee has an investigation going as well and it involves obstruction of justice and I think what were beginning to see is the putting together of a case of obstruction of justice, Feinstein, the panels top Democrat, told NBCs Meet the Press.

This is what I thought, until I looked at the members. Jeff Flake and Lindsey Graham are both on that committee. Trump may pay a price for all his insults, and these two might support the Dems here.
Can they bring criminal charges? I think not, so they aren’t confined to the law.
Legally there is no case - Trump fired Comey based upon the recommendation from DOJ. There was ample good cause for the decision.
A finding from the committee might serve as a basis for impeachment.
This might be a very big deal.
Stuff it, Mrs. Blum.
Presently, I would suggest that the general public (no matter what political slant they claim) are skeptical of DC political folks. This skeptical nature goes across to the news media, state politics, etc.
If someone wanted the total destruction of both political parties...go build some fake obstruction case.
Trump’s firing of Comey did not obstruct justice because the investigation was left intact and ongoing.
Impeachments begin in the House.
lolol
I’m still laughing at that...you one funny guy, tumlindice ;)
