Senate panel building obstruction of justice case against Trump over Comey firing, Feinstein says
The Senate’s investigation into Russian election meddling is crafting a possible obstruction of justice case against President Trump, the panel’s top Democrat said Sunday.
The case has become clearer after Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI on Friday, said Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
The panel “has an investigation going as well and it involves obstruction of justice and I think what we're beginning to see is the putting together of a case of obstruction of justice,” she told “Meet the Press.”
Trump suggested in a Saturday tweet that he “had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI.”
I disagree,Dems won’t win either the House or the Senate in 2018.
We damn well need a March on Washington when they come for our president.
Lesse.. Nixon in office, countless investigations and impeachment. Carter in office - nothing. Reagan in office - countless investigations into iran contra and russian scandals. Bush in office, investigations continue from Reagan era and accusations of creating homeless. Countless investigations and publicized hearings about judicial picks. Clinton in office - one investigation and impeachment of an actual crime that the Democrats claim is a private matter. Bush 2 - more countless investigations and accusations of racism and not caring about the homeless or hurricane survivors. Obama in office - NO INVESTIGATIONS AT ALL while Clinton and Obama commit numerous crimes against the constitution, let alone numerous violations of law. Any criminal accusations are swept under the rug or labeled non-crimes by political appointees.
And now the dems wnat to, once again, just make this all about investigations on trumped up charges.

The democrats are giving up on any illegalities related to the 2016 campaign. They are going to argue obstruction based on a tendentious reading of trivialities despite the absence of an underlying crime. And they don’t seem to understand or care that that is tantamount to a coup.
