Senate panel building obstruction of justice case against Trump over Comey firing, Feinstein says
The Senate’s investigation into Russian election meddling is crafting a possible obstruction of justice case against President Trump, the panel’s top Democrat said Sunday.
The case has become clearer after Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI on Friday, said Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee.
The panel “has an investigation going as well and it involves obstruction of justice and I think what we're beginning to see is the putting together of a case of obstruction of justice,” she told “Meet the Press.”
Trump suggested in a Saturday tweet that he “had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI.”
Translation: If we get the Congress. Or enough RINO votes.

Actually, this is all getting pretty “boring” .. the Democrats are a repetitive/boring lot.
I hope the democrats promise to bring that smug corrupt pig Comey back if they win. Let’s have it out on the table that the final corruption of our country os at stake.

Yes, you have to ask what firing Comey did to the investigation? My guess is that it was handed to the next in line. So no obstruction here.
The real concern is that a new house majority for the dems will waste no time in finding something Trump did. But Trump is also keeping his promises so his base is not going away. Diane has been on the wrong side of history and most of what she says is sour grapes at this point anyway. This is the person who made the agreement that gave us Obama and then promised Hillary that she could have the next nomination. Wow, nice work if you can get it.

But it wasn’t obstruction when the lead Hillary investigator didn’t question her under oath, record her answers, etc. And he and his FBI gf were rabid anti Trump / pro Hillary.
Remember, the GOP runs Congress, so if a Senate committee is trying to accuse Trump of lawbreaking, the GOP has given its ok to this attack on Trump
Makes me think of another Freeper’s post the other day stating if Trump is struck down this way, he will grow stronger than the Dems/RINOS could ever imagine.
Predictions:
If charges are filed against President Trump or any of his close relatives there will be a constitutional crisis.
If the Deep State attempts to impeach President Trump there will be an insurrection.

“We” includes the GOP establishment. Otherwise the committee wouldn’t be able to do squat, since GOP controls the Senate. Any Freepers who still claims the Republican Party is our friend hasn’t been paying attention

Irrelevant unless you can prove that Trump told Flynn to lie to the FBI.
Or if Flynn lied to Comey, maybe he had a good reason - like Comey could not be trusted.
