A North Carolina math teacher was arrested after being accused of having sex with three male students.
Erin Elizabeth McAuliffe was taken in custody after a police investigation concluded that she had sexual relationships with two 17-year-old students and one 16-year-old student. She was charged with three counts of sexual activity with a student and one count of indecent liberties with a minor.
Rocky Mount Preparatory School, where McAuliffe worked until the investigation began on May 4, acknowledged the scandal in a statement to WNCN.
"We have been fully cooperative with local law enforcement during the course of their handling of this matter," the statement read.
The encounters reportedly took place outside of school grounds.

Thank goodness it wasn’t a male teacher, because then it it would have sexual harassment. Since the teacher is a women it’s just sex, so what’s the big deal, the boys just got lucky only girls are harmed by sex with their teacher and only if the teacher is male.

One thing I do not understand is how could there be an arrest made when the age of consent is sixteen in North Caroline.?

I hope there is sufficient evidence to prove the case, if true. Boys are known to say they had sex with those they hadn’t, whereas girls say the opposite. I would definitely pursue charges against Ms. Cankles were it my son because of boys’ underdeveloped logic/prefrontal cortex at this age combined with raging hormones. Seriously lady, you’re taking advantage of horny morons, and I used to be one. Thank God the two teachers I thought were hot at the time had no such proclivities.
In the early 60’s women had more values. Also no jury would just give them probation back then.
