One thing I do not understand is how could there be an arrest made when the age of consent is sixteen in North Caroline.?

My first thought too
some of these teacher case are not crimes in my opinion. I wouldn’t mind an age of consent of 16. But they are all open to dismissal by the school district for policy violations.
