What are you thankful for?
I'm thankful Donald Trump is our President.

My 34 year old son was in the hospital for 67 days. Several times they told us he might not make it. He got home Saturday.
He has a long way to go but I am very thankful for all the doctors and nurses who treated him so well.
It really helped me to rethink some things in my life. Priorities are different now.
Me too! POTUS & all my fellow Americans who are standing together against the left.
For the next couple days, Nyquil.
I am thankful for:
1. being not dead, yet, again, today.
2. no sniveling *itchy woman calling me ‘deplorable’
3. that i am still mobile, with all hands and feet accountable,
4. still living in a country that resisted socialism,
5. seeing America drive ISIS before them, like the women they are,
6. seeing antifa gasbags falter on a day that was supposed to be infamous,
7. seeing a mass amount of chickenhawks being brought to justice,
8. seeing the NFL get what it deserves, since it left us GI’s in SouthEast Asia high and dry, because of a strike for mo’ money and no football movies,
9. seeing the American spirit put one on the chin of globalists,
and ...
10. being alive in a time that i was wondering if it would ever come, again!

I’m thankful for a friend who sends me humorous emails every day like this:
It’s late fall and the Indians on a remote reservation in South Dakota
asked their new chief if the coming winter was going to be cold or mild.
Since he was a chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the
old secrets. When he looked at the sky, he couldn’t tell what the winter was going to be like.
Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he told his tribe that the
winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect firewood to be prepared.
But, being a practical leader, after several days, he got an idea. He
went to the phone booth, called the National Weather Service and asked, ‘Is the coming winter going to be cold?’
‘It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold, ‘the
meteorologist at the weather service responded.
So the chief went back to his people and told them to collect even
more firewood in order to be prepared.
A week later, he called the National Weather Service again.
‘Does it still look like it is going to be a very cold winter?’
‘Yes, ‘the man at National Weather Service again replied, ‘it’s going
to be a very cold winter.’
The chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect
every scrap of firewood they could find.
Two weeks later, the chief called the National Weather Service again.
‘Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold?’
‘Absolutely, ‘the man replied. ‘It’s looking more and more like it is
going to be one of the coldest winters we’ve ever seen.’
‘How can you be so sure?’ the chief asked...
The weatherman replied, ‘The Indians are collecting a shitload of
firewood.”

Murphy showed up at Mass one Sunday and the priest almost fell down when he saw him. He’d never been to church in his life. After Mass, the priest caught up with him & said, “Murphy, I am so glad ya decided to come to Mass. What made ya come?”
Murphy said, “I got to be honest with you Father, a while back, I misplaced me hat and I really, really love that hat. I know that McGlynn had a hat just like mine and I knew he came to church every Sunday. I also knew that he had to take off his hat during Mass and figured he would leave it in the back of the church. So, I was going to leave after Communion and steal McGlynn’s hat.”
The priest said, “Well, Murphy, I notice that ya didn’t steal McGlynn’s hat. What changed your mind?”
Murphy replied, “Well, after I heard your sermon on the 10 Commandments I decided that I didn’t need to steal McGlynn’s hat after all.”
With a tear in his eye the priest gave Murphy a big smile and said; “After I talked about ‘Thou Shalt Not Steal’ ya decided you would rather do without your hat than burn in hell, eh?”
Murphy slowly shook his head. “No, Father, after ya talked about ‘Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery’ I remembered where I left me hat.”

Hope your son continues his recovery.
I am thankful for so many things on this Earth. First, for my wife of 28 years, and her loving support. Second, for my now four children (we adopted this year!) and their love. Third, I am thankful for the opportunity as a small businessman to support my family over the last year.
I am also thankful for the resurgence of a conservative agenda under President DJ Trump. I am hopeful that the parties will be ripped asunder by his force of will, and more conservative victories will follow.
But, most of all, I am thankful for a loving God who sent his only son to atone for sins he never committed.
Without my faith in Jesus, I have come to rebuild my life and pray for the better! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
My prayers are with you and your son. The journey back from illness or injury is never easy, but I fervently pray that his path is meandering directly back to health, my FRiend.
A life that is rich and full with meaning and purpose, my daughter and her husband, and one more day of sobriety
Being alive in this wondrous world.
