She unseated Republican Del. Bob Marshall, a 13-term incumbent and socially conservative lawmaker who proudly called himself Virginia's 'chief homophobe.'
Roem, 33, openly discussed her gender identity during her campaign, but it was far from her focus.
Instead, she focused on jobs, schools and, with particular fervor, northern Virginia's traffic congestion.
Marshall meanwhile spent the entire campaign referring to Roem as 'him,' but after her win she refused to attack her opponent, saying: 'He'll be one of my constituents and I'm not going to attack my constituents.'

+1. Also, look at the election NUMBERS. Trump got about 700,000 more votes last year than Ed G got.
Ed G didn’t work hard enough to get those votes. If he had gotten maybe only 60 or 70% of them, he would have won.
Read the verse. GOD only addresses His people. The church has turned a blind eye to sin, no longer is salt and light to the nation.
Second - This isn't even a mid-term election. It's a special election and for all intents and purposes a one-off that doesn't mean jack shit. It's freaking Virginia for crying out loud, a blue state with a well organized Democrat machine that has zero issues in fomenting vote fraud.
Third, Virginia is the "home of the swamp." How many Never Trumpers from both political parties that infest our Government live there and gladly voted for the transsexual as a slap at President Trump?
C'mon folks, this is a non-event. The mid-terms are going to be a completely different story than this. The fact that not a single polling organization would predict Gillespie to win despite showing him as the leader going into yesterday I think speaks volumes.
None of the pollsters know how to gauge the electorate anymore and one state, Virginia does not a trend make. If the Democrats want to believe it does, I say we let them believe that all the way up to the mid-term elections next November.

Well we live in the church age of Laodicea..the lukewarm church..I can’t say when Christians will repent and pray...One thing about it all this turmoil and violence will only get worse which was predicted..
