Muslims hate dogs, so maybe everyone needs a well trained “service dog”....

A fake service dog killed a real one a few weeks back:

If there weren’t so many stupid ‘health’ regulations about where you may bring your dog (my American Bulldog is trained as well as all but a few specialty service animals) jerks wouldn’t have the incentive to call so many ill trained animals ‘service’.

I’ve been to restaurants in other countries that permit (well behaved) dogs that put to shame many of the ones here that don’t allow them. As with smoking, it should be up to the owner of the establishment.

Not to say the people with fake service animals aren’t jerks, but I kind of get their frustration.

Anyone who doesn’t like dogs might as well be a moozie for all I care, I ain’t gonna trust them.

You don’t have to ask. A real service dog has lots of training and is very well behaved. All those emotional dogs and faux dogs ain’t well behaved and can be asked to leave because they are causing trouble

Does that person have a driver’s license and insurance?

What if no one could ask?

What with every fat, obese Wal-Mart shopper in a mobility cart being legally “disabled”, and now grownup snowflakes carrying dogs everywhere they go - they will soon turn the tide of public opinion AGAINST those who are truly disabled.

I was eating in a crowded Panera and some lady brought in a big unruly dog . I moved to the other side of the table and it kept banging up against the chair and the table

I can’t say it was a fake..but my gosh..have some consideration.

There were dogs in grocery stores, restaurants, shopping arcades, everywhere when we lived in Belgium. Only problems were out on the sidewalk where you met the lazy side of the Belgians. On a leash a dog is more polite than a lot of people (and yes, they’re like garlic for vampires to Muslims).

Last year in our Walmart store I asked why this elderly, obviously poor couple had brought their ancient, one eyed, scab covered rat dog into the grocery area, they replied in unison: "He's a service dog."
My reply: "That's nice, I'm an astronaut."
There's another loon here in town with a five foot Boa Constrictor claiming "service animal" status - he goes into Safeway with the snake around his neck and the store lets him.

After researching; it appears people can scam their way into making you allow them to have a pet in your rental property this way.
Even if you don’t allow pets.

Well we have Daisy, she is a service dog.She belongs to Kelly-made up name.I met Kelly when she was a teen through a TV show. She joined the Marines and was 1st wave in Iraq.Jeep was in accident, she has brain injuries and lives on base. She travels with Daisey all over the world.Every town Kelly goes in she is greeted by fellow Marines and they take care of everything.
Then we have bones whose a runt. His owner is my Granddaughter. She was 2nd wave in Iraq.Has PTSD and other things.Bones doesn’t wear a harness but he is still a service dog.She had to sleep in her car after driving 3 hours for a VA appointment the next day because the motel would not accept her service dog.I get it.

I worked in a hotel. People use fake service dog vests to avoid paying pet fees.

So are the states going to challenge the ADA?

Another example of how the ADA has gotten so utterly out-of-control. Where does one draw the line at accessibility and accommodations to abuse and excess?

For years, there have been folks making a pretty good living by trolling businesses and filing ADA lawsuits against them for what are often relatively minor ADA “violations” - abusing the system.
