The View this morning started by covering the big news about the indictment of Paul Manafort, but things got very heated as soon as Hillary Clinton came up.
Sara Haines remarked on the story that the “nothing-burger…tastes really good” right now, and Sunny Hostin also mentioned the indictment.
Resident conservative Meghan McCain decided to tie in the recent news about the Clinton campaign/DNC ties to the Trump-Russia dossier, and as the panel went back and forth about this, Hostin cried, “Hillary Clinton is not the President and Hillary Clinton wasn’t just indicted!”
McCain shot back she’s just trying to provide important insight and noted how people knew for a while Manafort was a shady guy.
But when she brought up Barack Obama’s (awkward-in-hindsight) comments to Mitt Romney in 2012 downplaying Russia, Hostin went off again and said, “President Obama wasn’t indicted today!”

Actually, if you look at the dates, someone who was trying to influence then Secretary of Defense, Hilliary Clinton was just indicted.

Doesn’t matter if she’s president or not... The ‘special investigator’ (they they all wanted) can go wherever evidence takes him... Including to HilLIARy.
What are they screaming about anyway? Did something come up re: hilLIARy that I missed? Or do they know something we don’t about where the investigation is heading?
Keep hammering on the double-standards point: if X is indicted for Y, and Z obviously did Y*1000, shouldn’t Z be investigated?

Former Secretary of State and Democratic 2016 Presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton condemned “outrageous tax havens and loopholes ... in Panama and elsewhere” at a Pennsylvania AFL–CIO event. Clinton added that “some of this behavior is clearly against the law, and everyone who violates the law anywhere should be held accountable”, but it was “scandalous how much is actually legal”. Clinton promised that “We are going after all these scams and make sure everyone pays their fair share here in America.”
The current guy you want indicted hasn’t been and won’t be indicted either....

Hey, Sunny, Paul Manafort is not the president, either, and the basis of the indictments against him involve actions preceding his involvement with the Trump campaign.
