A female friend of mine went on a foreign business trip early in her career with two colleagues who were both male, married, and senior to her at the company. After dinner with a client, hours after she had retired to her room, around 1 a.m., one of her coworkers knocked on her hotel door and asked if she would come out for a drink. She declined. After another hour, around 2 a.m., the other coworker knocked on her door. When she opened it a crack, he tried to push his way into her room. She fought him off. All three still work together.

I understand and have overheard men’s locker room talk to each other. That’s not what I was referring to.
It’s the comments about physical appearance and I gave some examples upthread.
It wouldn’t work anywhere I’ve been either. And if it did, I’d be outta there.

We women don't even like the crazy ones.
But the intend is understood and women are good at picking up on intent.
The satisfaction the rest of us not so beautiful women get is that payback is coming.
Age is NOBODY’S friend and I suspect that it’s harder for those really beautiful women to age. Matter of fact, I’ve noticed a tendency that the more beautiful they are, the worse they tend to age. Literally.
And I’ve seen 70 something year olds looking anorexic, sauntering down the beach in a bikini like she was 17 instead of 70.
It about cost me my lunch.

That’s the problem in that case.
I don’t expect rational behavior or thought over anyone with that many hormones raging through their bodies.
We normal, real women think no more highly of those kinds of women than we do of those kinds of men.
They are also abusers and cads.
Matter of fact, that sort of thing has been happening for thousands of years, based on the account in Genesis of Joseph and Potiphar’s wife.
You know, I am actually starting to think something is wrong with ME! Apparently every other woman in the world is so irresable that men are constantly throwing themselves at them and just can’t help but make advances. I have been in the workforce with men for 30 years— nothing. Not so much as a glance. Am I that ugly and unappealing? I guess so.

I was very attractive in my younger days.
I controlled whether I received advances or not by my behavior. Where I looked, how I responded to men whether at work or at play.
If I wasn’t interested, the men knew it.
I remember that there was a specialist in our area who had been found to be sexually fondling and abusing a number of women in his practice. My PCP had referred me to this man and I had seen him three or four times. After the scandal broke he asked me whether this man had been a problem for me. I looked at the PCP and said: I am just not the kind of woman that men can abuse.
My PCP looked at me a moment, and said, Yes, that he could see that.
Yes I know those women exist. I was talking to some girls at work once about going out to bars and they said how they never even take money because guys buy them drinks. I was amazed by this. I have been legal since I was 18 (not 21 like today) and told them no one had EVER bought me a drink. I still can’t figure it out- they claim they just walk in, sit down and guys start sending over drinks. I wish I knew their trick (or had their beauty). I could have saved myself a lot of money over the years! They were just amazed that I actually always bought my own drinks when I went out- they thought all girls had drinks bought for them.

Um... yes, actually, reading facial expressions is a very basic human skill, and when you are making someone uncomfortable, and they are looking at you like “What on earth...” you should be able to recognize it.
Rule 1: Never go to a therapist who wears a toupee.
I have no problem complimenting a man on his physical appearance at work. or taunting him mildly about something that is ‘off’. I would never do the same to a woman because I don’t want to go visit HR.

This is ridiculous monkeys communicate non verbally. We are humans. We speak! So let me get this straight if the bitchy looking blonde with permanent dead pan face suddenly smiles at me then I am good to go? She might as have “come f me” message tattoo to her face?
I had plenty of short affairs with women overseas and non wanted to come to America. None.
