Feel the same way, though I would never let myself drive it.
But that was about the acme, the pinnacle, wasn't it?

Nice. I once considered getting in on a Pinzgauer group buy. This about 18 years ago. Sanity crept in when my lack of a place to store such a beast came in to the analysis.
I did a trip from St Petersburg and back on a CB 750 in, I think 83, on a 79 mbike. Those things eat chains. On a three thousand mile trip I used up a chain and sprockets that were new when I started I crawled back to St Pete at 15 mph the last 100 miles or so with the chain stretched as tight as possible because there were only little nubs for sprocket teeth. My Virago ten years later had an enclosed chain that rode in 5 tubes of grease. I put 70k miles on that chain.
Sorry, that’s St Petersburg to Omaha.
Nose and rear fenders are fiberglass. The rest is aluminium.
21’ Schiada River Cruiser. 588 Superchaged BBC (1100hp on pump gas)
I eventually acquired an older version and made her mine.
A guy I worked with had a ‘67 GTO, with two 4-barrels on a 389 and a 4-speed transmission. Don babied that car, and it was a thing of beauty. He sold it for $1200 in 1973, when he joined the Marines, and I have always regretted that I didn’t buy it. Of course, my parents would have killed me, so I wouldn’t have lived long enough to wreck the car, but still.
when I’m old and losing my marbles, those would be some great hallucinations to have; substituting Pool Boy for the Bikini Babes, though! ;)
Love it...
WW2 era Jeep in mil-spec config. Failing that, a newer one, same specs.
That’s what I’m talking about.
The car is nice, too ;-)
Unimog U1300L? Around 30K ish, can be much more depending on features.
Zetros, you can't get it in the USA to my knowledge due to our nanny government.
40 or41 willys coup
