It was a long and difficult month. She is finally at rest. I am cast adrift.
Sorry to hear that. May she rest in peace.
Prayers up.
So sorry for your lose. I miss my Mom everyday and understand your pain. Prayers for you and your family.
Prayers through this tough time for you and yours. I understand that immense hole in your heart.
I am so sorry, Lorianne.
Thank you all for your comforting thoughts and prayers.
Over my many FR years I’ve read so many people’s heartbroken posts on losing a loved one or a loved one gravely ill. I’ve always prayed for each and every one, even if I didn’t post anything comforting to say.
I didn’t know how much I didn’t know of the heartbreak contained in those posts. Now I do.
Thank you al FRiends.
Sorry to hear about your loss.
I’m 51. My mom passed away in 2002 from Alzheimer’s.
I get adrift.
God Bless and comfort you during this difficult time.
-Joe
Prayers for you and all who feel her loss.
May God fill you with his Great Spirit as he holds your mother close. Prayers and Grace for you and your family, in Jesus name - amen.
So sorry for your loss. It is really difficult to lose a Mother. Mine passed early July, after three months of hospice care in her own home. I was lucky to have a sister to pitch in and help. Couldn’t have done it with out my dear husband. At first, I kept wanting to call her when something interesting happened. Not so much anymore. Keep busy and change your routine. I am lucky my grandchildren who were in China are now in Grosse Pointe, MI. They are now my rock.
I said a prayer for you. It’s terrible to lose your mom.
May her soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Julia’s memory will always be with you.
Here is a thread about a weekend for those who are grieving.

It looks like they are working on their website.
It’s a bridge I’ve crossed more than once already, and knowing G-d is with you and can help, so you have my prayers that G-d help you come to peace with your loss, and give you strength against a sorrow that does not go away, but with His help can become easier to live with.
I’m sorry. I will pray for her soul and for your continued strength.
I haven't posted on this forum for a month because of my own mother's illness, so your situation really hits home.
May our Lord Jesus Christ comfort you and your family. I can relate, having lost my father only 19 months ago. The pain becomes bearable, but never goes away. Lean on the Lord and on family, and you will get through. FRegards.
