CLEVELAND -- Eleven Cleveland Browns players knelt in a circle during the national anthem prior to Monday's preseason game against the New York Giants.
While the group knelt behind the Cleveland bench in front of the Gatorade buckets, several other players stood nearby and put their hands on a kneeling teammate's shoulder in support.
Those who took a knee were tight end Seth DeValve, running backs Duke Johnson Jr. and Terrence Magee, safeties Jabrill Peppers and Calvin Pryor, cornerback Jamar Taylor, receivers Kenny Britt and Ricardo Louis, linebackers Chris Kirksey and Jamie Collins, and running back Isaiah Crowell (who was not in uniform).

NFL —> No Fans Left
I was never a fan but what little interest I had has been completely eliminated.
It is time for the nfl to go down. Its bad enough they cave to the feminazis and put women in a mens locker room and make the guys wear pink bs.
Imagine tens of millions of men actually having several extra prime hours a week to have for hobbies or getting things done that they want to accomplish.
College is better.

It certainly is.
I’m starting to like the Sooners because a buddy is a Sooners fanatic.
Well, they are a bunch of losers. The Browns are so bad that they will lose many more games than they win. Every time that they lose, it will bring joy to my heart now.
If only a large number of fans just walked out of the game and maybe even asked for a refund like in some movie theaters. I would love a you tube video of that.
Guess they want the NFL to collapse. I’m fine with that.
Cleveland Browns—Hugh Hewitt’s favorite team. Anything to say MSLSD Host?
Love that...going to use it a lot !
This whole thing has got to be proof that the supposed race problem is manufactured by the left.
It’s real easy to scale back. Find something else to do other than support the NFL by watching it. Get into working on cars, get into online gaming, something. You may even save money.
I do not watch the NFL. I much prefer the CFL. With 3 downs, a wider field and an extra player, it is a much more exiting game, IMO. The fact that I live in Canada, may result in some bias.
Think about this when you're tempted to buy tickets for your local NFL team....and you just can't bear the thought that the good old professional sports days aren't here any more.

Go Ducks!
If I was any sports team owner, I would tell all the players on the team:
Your politics is your business, keep it that way.
If you want to make it everyone’s business, on the public and commercial time of this team, then quit the team and go into politics, because I’m not paying you to turn our commercial time into your political ad.
Off the team public appearance time, you’re on your own.
It was reported late last week that nearly all the teams in the NFL plan to do the same. What a game plan.
I have been a Brown's fan for many years. I do not watch them now, nor will I ever as long as this shit is allowed to exist. Total ASSHOLES!
The NFL is committing suicide.
It’s time to put an end to the professional sports oligarchies known as the NFL, NBA, and MLB. The spoiled attitude that is allowed to permeate among the players is a direct result of the hybrid legal construct under which the major sports leagues are organized. They operate as monopolies yet avoid the regulation that other natural monopolies deal with to protect the interests of the general public.
When an attempt is made to put a limit to player’s salaries, or limit free agency, the player’s unions and their lawyers/agents complain that it violates free market principles, and yet the leagues themselves restrict competition from other teams that may want to participate in their annual tournaments. Their club mentality enforces a scarcity which drives up their profit margins and drives up wages for those few players fortunate enough to make the cut. The only losers are the fans.

I agree,and often wonder why they don’t.
Are they afraid of the entire “race” thing that is destroying the country—— and backlash from the press and the Al Sharptons of the world?
