CLEVELAND -- Eleven Cleveland Browns players knelt in a circle during the national anthem prior to Monday's preseason game against the New York Giants.
While the group knelt behind the Cleveland bench in front of the Gatorade buckets, several other players stood nearby and put their hands on a kneeling teammate's shoulder in support.
Those who took a knee were tight end Seth DeValve, running backs Duke Johnson Jr. and Terrence Magee, safeties Jabrill Peppers and Calvin Pryor, cornerback Jamar Taylor, receivers Kenny Britt and Ricardo Louis, linebackers Chris Kirksey and Jamie Collins, and running back Isaiah Crowell (who was not in uniform).

Before Lyndon Johnson's welfare policies were instituted, Black families had as low a rate of out of wedlock births as White families did. Violent crime rates were also immensely lower. Government policy has almost single-handedly created this mess—dependency, hopelessness, and the destruction of the Black family unit.

I would guess knowing all the complete playbook almost as well as the QB. What special blocking schemes were in every play.
Run blocking and pass protection, etc. DL have mostly just to read run vs. pass and adjust what they do best.

Guy with a heavy British accent at my gym is the most open, friendly guy you can imagine, absolutely not a hint of inner city attitude. Only a guy that was fresh out of engineering school where I worked was as "normal", likely as it was somewhat forced on him. When we would josh out of earshot of management, he was as raunchy as you might expect, but he knew how to turn it on and off.
He knew who he could relax with, but still has the ghetto thing in his head to some extent.
Nothing that I've noticed in over two years. Not a single game. Not a minute of airtime. Not missed.

The stats I saw showed Black families in the 1930s had an illegitimacy (there’s that old-fashioned term) rate roughly equal to White families of the 1990s. It was about double the White rate if measured in the same time period.

Besides the National Anthem boycott, there are too many teams and too many injuries to keep them staffed with professional quality players.
There are 32 teams, but just around 15 quarterbacks who play at a consistently high level, and probably 4 or more of those QBs will be out with injuries before the playoffs start.
72% of the players may be Black, but 80% of their pay comes from passionate white fans, like me, who are slowly saying goodbye to the NFL.
I sold my personal seat licenses this year. Don’t these idiots know that the fans do not accept this commie crap like those who do but do not go to games?

Do you remember a defensive player from that general era who spent some time with the Colts, named "Big Daddy" Lipscomb? His story was ultimately quite tragic, but he was pretty famous for a while back then. Here's a video about him which features sound bites from several of his teammates, including Art Donovan: "Big Daddy".
Here's another video about another interesting player from that general era, named Chuck Bednarik (born in Bethlehem!), who played both offense and defense (center and middle linebacker) for the Philadelphia Eagles: "Chuck Bednarik". I later found this video clip featuring the great running back, Jim Brown, talking about Chuck when he passed: "Jim Brown Remembers Chuck Bednarik".
It's just not the same anymore, and I really won't miss watching these anti-Americans of today.
Freaking ungrateful arrogant pricks need to be tossed from the team. Screw the NFL! Boycott these clowns - and let the sponsors know you are doing so.
