You want to hit Pittsburgh with a crashing rocket?

No. Not even Steelers fans deserve that.

The Clinton Administration forked over 4 billion dollars to NK, so supposedly they could catch up with the rest of the world cuz when you look at a night time map of NK they are almost completely dark. So, poor babies got a huge chunk of America tax-payer change to remedy their darkness.

Look at the night time map today. Are they swimming in street lamps and glows from parking lots? Nope.

But, they do have a nuclear arsenal pointed at the country that gave them all those clams.

Thanks Hillary.

Step 1: Hack an unarmed North Korean missile so that it falls in the U.S.
Step 2: Use this missile as a pretext to attack North Korea.
Step 3: A Deep State insider blows the whistle on the entire scheme. And he has proof.
Step 4: Trump is impeached, convicted, and removed from office.

So, you’re thinking that we could bribe some North Korean to change the targeting on a missile so that it didn’t land in the Pacific, but say in Walla Walla, WA? No nuke on it, but we could then take out North Korea.

Hmmmmmm......

Well.

Let’s see.

I just have too many negative waves about that.

His testing is enough of a provocation to act now. Each test improves his capability and increases the risk on others since he is an unstable mad man.

North Korea would be a great place to use kinetic energy weapons that use super dense projectiles that drop at high speed either from orbit or from the tip of an ICBM. These weapons deliver a nuclear like punch but without the radiation or fallout. These weapons have supposedly been under development for decades

Trump has seen the light. Next, preemptive strikes on North Korea’s nuclear facilities and missile factories. Show them what the MOABs can do from the B-52s. Do a hit on the fat pig with a few cruise missiles. Take down any missiles going into S. Korea from our naval fleet. EMP the entire nation with a high altitude drop by the B-1B. No more pussy-footing around!

How about first, we cease giving him money, fuel and food, and refuse to allow any products made in that enterprise zone into the USA? Also, all banks and nations that do any business with the norks are utterly frozen out of America.

Not as dramatic as spoofing one of their rockets into impacting Denver, but...

And as cool as DC types think they are, fake causus belli is utter BS crap. Always looking for a damned shortcut, that’s the problem with DC people. The USS Maine wasn’t mined in Havana, the Poles didn’t attack a radio station inside Germany in 1939, the Gulf of Tonkin wasn’t what we were told, the missile gap was a lie, the bomber gap was a joke, Kuwaiti babies weren’t thrown from incubators, Iraqs WMDs were a joke, Belgian babies weren’t being bayoneted by Germans,,,
Anyone remember Operation Northwoods? Where Lemnitzer and the Joint Chiefs wanted JFK to let them conduct false flag attacks to pretend Cuba was attacking America?

My idea? Howzabout Just ONCE, instead of lying more than a woman of reproductive age, and concocting fake BS, maybe DC should make an intelligent, coherent case, go before Congress, ask for a Declaration or War, and then simply attack them.

A Way To Stop North Korea's Nuclear Nightmare Now, (And Have The World Applaud Us For Doing So)

By now you are well aware that there are a bunch of closet libs, even on this forum, that subscribe to the "COEXIST" BS that was the Hussein 0bama strategy.

When they see a blinding flash, feel the global warming temp rise to 10,000 degrees Celsius and experience an overpressure of 1000 PSI, they'll know for an instant that kim has sent his calling card and it is too late to go PRE-EMPTIVE.

Seems like we should be sitting just outside NORK waters and be “practicing” with our missile intercept technology. Why send up “drones” to shoot down when you can shoot at the real thing? Stop everything coming out of NORK and he’ll run out of rocket fuel eventually. We’d get the practice and be able to tweak the technology and Kim couldn’t get a missile past his international boundary.

I think the triggering event would be the test flight demonstrating that the entire nuclear weapon system development cycle had been completed. That is, launch of a long range missile on an attack trajectory (even if depressed/shortened) followed by release and controlled reentry of a simulated warhead somewhere in the eastern Pacific Ocean. At that point, North Korea will have forged the weapon needed to deliver on its threats to the US, South Korea, Japan, etc. and simultaneously liberated itself from dependence on the PRC and Russian nuclear umbrellas for protection.

The ultimate goal of Juche will have been achieved.

As for the response to the trigger event, I think the Chinese (and possibly the Russians) will invade North Korea. They will strike suddenly and violently with the intent to depose the Kim regime, sieze and dismantle the entirety of the nuclear weapons program, and bundle all the associated program equipment, materials, associated records and key personnel off into the interior of China for “safekeeping.”

They will do this not out of any great love for the United States but because they don’t want a war possibly involving the delivery of nuclear weapons to the Korean Peninsula to break out. They also don’t want a nuclear arms race developing with two very capable adversaries, South Korea and Japan. They also don’t want east Asia to become saturated with effective ABM systems including their farseeing radars. Finally, if North Korea were to be attacked by the United States or its East Asian allies, it will probably trigger mutual defense agreements they have with their Korean War ally to come to its defense.

If they move in very quickly and execute decisively, they can forestall all these possibilities.

There are, of course, some pretty significant downsides to this course of action. The first is the absolute need to find and secure all North Korean nuclear weapons. The second is defeating the 1 million strong DPRK army or at least getting it to stand aside/down, The third is keeping the population of North Korea inside North Korea and the basic administrative structure intact enough so that the country can function.

Second only to securing the nuclear weapons, it is also utmost necessity to find and eliminate the Kim family and all their core supporters. They have been the guiding hand and driving force behind this effort for 3 generations. Their leader cult approaches divinity and that plus the momentum of past decisions has compelled them to follow this course to its conclusion. In order to break this cycle, you must break them.

Then, maybe, the North Korean people will be delivered from their nightmare.

Does it occur to you that anyone doing or participating in what you propose would be liable to a long prison sentence, not to mention removal from office?

And I think you're forgetting that the Norks, just like us, almost certainly have such a thing as a Range Safety Officer with the authority to blow up a missile that went off course. Given how close they are to South Korea, China, Russia, and Japan, their self-destruct system is likely the most carefully tested part of the missile.

Assuming you could "hack into" their missile guidance (do you think they hook that stuff into the internet?) you'd also have to "hack into" their range safety self-destruct and disable it. Good luck.

45 years of cocktails in Northern Virginia with certain civilians does open certain perhaps twisted ways of thinking.....

Dump the cocktails, rely on coffee instead and set out some ground rules. The issue is not how to start a war but rather what steps may our President take to defend our nation from the actions of a Hitler- or Tojo-like threat. (Which steps, of course, do not cause any damage in the U.S. or require a DOW.)

Your argument would get us there if you proposed to use the same assets to reprogram the guidance system to instead lift the first nuclear-tipped missile to an altitude that would effectively destroy the immediate environment, with little or no damage or fallout to SK.

It would seem prudent to have a backup plan that included assets in place that could destroy the missile at a slightly higher altitude. In this event, we would not be starting a war, we would be defending our country.

Our fingerprints would not be so obvious in the first case; if the backup plan was activated it would certainly send a message to the other major powers.

Out to dinner, thanks for starting the thread!

How long would the deep state spies of the CIA/DIA allow this to be kept secret? Less than a week is my guess.

That would surely get Trump impeached & removed from office.

A better idea is to keep up the pressure on NK with numerous recon flights until Un tries to shoot them down. Trump can then rightly retaliate with strikes on AA sites. War will follow shortly, as will Un’s death & the complete destruction of his nuclear program.

The only answer is to launch nuclear weapons on every single country in the world.

“Think about it. As bizarre as it is, this errant missile impact would give POTUS the justification to do basically anything he wanted to do in return and retaliation. Even the screaming pinkos would be relatively silent when the president’s actions were so “clearly justified.””

Just shoot it out of the sky and announce the next one that launches will be shot out of the sky and we will launch one of our own in return.

That ends the problem and forces China and Russia into a game they cannot afford to play.
