Not a government employee... and do you think we can allow Kim to develop nuc-tipped ICBM’s, and how do you justify the massive attack it would/will take to eliminate the threat?

Seems to me we’re looking at this back asswards in trying to figure out how to hit an ICBM on its way down to the target when it’s moving at about 15,000 mph. Hard to hit something moving that fast. However, it takes about 5 minutes for an ICBM to reach burnout stage. It would make sense to me to target the ICBM as it climbs. At that point a supersonic rocket could track, hit, and destroy the missile.
