Lowe tells Entertainment Weekly the encounter took place in the Ozark Mountains, which stretch through Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
Lowe says he and his sons were camping there to investigate a bigfoot-like creature known to locals as a wood ape during a shoot for The Lowe Files when something began to approach their camp. Lowe says he was lying on the ground thinking he was going to be killed.

Considering all the drugs those actors take maybe he did “see” bigfoot.
LOL! I miss him.
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
(Except he wasn’t all that mighty to begin with)
Ivan T. Sanderson says they are “Everywhere! Everywhere!”.
Is he recounting his visit to the White House last year?
It’s very interesting that both Bigfoot and Space Aliens appear only to rednecks camping in the woods with lots of alcoholic beverages in hand.......................
I know some guys who claim to have had an encounter in a snowstorm on Mt. LeConte in the Smokies, they were bedded down in a park service cabin and it was not happy that they were there. Quite large, very violently pounding on the door. Very distinct, unpleasant odor. Not a bear, at least the tracks certainly didn’t appear to be, whatever it was.
Null! He’s here in Humboldt enjoying some of the local weed.

Was alcohol involved? Bigfoot seems to be drawn to people camping with alcohol. Perhaps it’s his one weakness...............also Space Aliens that kidnap campers........................
I don’t know if alcohol was but I’m sure some Humboldt home grown was.
The space aliens will put you on their no fly list.
Perhaps it was a mixture of the two that attracts Bigfoot.
It certainly attracts people.......................
After a bottle of Tequila.....I saw Bigfoot and a space alien riding the Loch Ness Monster in the Gulf of Mexico......
Pretty sure that’s what I saw......
Not to fear! Shoji Tabuchi in hot pursuit!
Rob Lowe and His Noise To Go meet Big Foot.
I certainly hope so!.....................
They are known as Boogers in the South. I live in the mountains of southeast Kentucky and have heard stories from people over the years. Some are believable, some I totally discount.
I live in the mountains and can say I have had some strange things happen around my house at night. Most can be explained and I am not saying it was a booger, but what happened made no sense whatsoever and if it were a person they came damned close to dying.
Uh......

100,000+ in the last 15 years, surely they are not all rednecks...
I know about the Mt. Leconte story. If done right, it would make for a great “scary” re-enactment on a movie or TV show.
