No physical evidence whatsoever that Earth has ever been visited by extraterrestrial civilizations. If they are out there, we’ll never get to them, nor will they ever get to us.

Communication? Possible, someday. Though even that’s unlikely.

Ten or fifteen years ago I would have been on a thread like this making (deserved) glib and obnoxious comments to the main posting and most of the replies. I’m getting too old. Ah...for the good old days.

Yeah, we don't yet understand life on our own planet.

Lots of work to be done.

Again, I'm saying that if there is life on other planets they listened to God so Yeshua (הוֹשֻׁעַ) as savior to them wasn't needed. They listened, we didn't.

Yes, God could do anything He wants. Including come to every Alien planet. Absolutely no reason “once for all” couldn’t be once per sentient planet. Or simultaneous, I’m not picky. Anyway, some need to be asked, where is their personal name and address in the Word? The Word is sufficient, but not all of the truth. Sheep management statements in the Word are not exhaustive, but represent what every Shepherd already knew. The “aliens are demons” theory may be partly true, but why do some paint themselves into a corner because of some human author whose theology is speculative?

Yes, it’s logical.

God needs no shortcuts to address everyone God loves.

There is no shortcut to being a good person.

If you look at the big picture, without getting bogged down in the details, then flying saucers are the same as time machines. It’s all part of the cosmic lattice of coincidences.

I don’t think all those reporting are delusive. Deluded is still up in the air. Some claim Air Force folk are doing the abductions. To me, that’s even more scary.

There is a lot that is *not* talked about in the bible.

The bible is for us, so there would be no reason to mention life on other planets.

This is how many angels on the head of a pin stuff.

I do *not* think there are extra terrestrial aliens that can reach us. The evidence is simply not there.

Could demons pretend to be aliens? Sure.

You’re an abductee?

I’d be interested in hearing about it.

I don't know whether or not there are aliens living on other planets. However, I don't intend to stop writing science fiction stories about them.

And maybe you’ve gone to a pastor or church leader with this very question...

Just yesterday :)

If there were physical evidence why would the lowly peasants know about it?

In addition to the obvious life-hospitable factors, such as a temperature suitable for liquid water and a suitably-sized sun, there are many more factors required for a planet to be fit for human-like (i.e., carbon-based) intelligent life (with more required factors likely to be discovered):

Suitable gravity for atmosphere, with appropriate pressure, to retain oxygen and water vapor but not hydrogen; suitable axis rotation rate; appropriate tilt of planet axis for seasons; suitable orbital distance from star to prevent tidal locking; magnetic field from planet molten core to shield atmosphere from cosmic radiation; sufficient planetary plate tectonics for crustal mineral recycling; suitable distribution and shape of continents to sustain deep ocean currents; sufficient actinide radioisotopes in planet interior for decay heat; suitably-sized moon to create needed tides and stabilize planet rotation; giant outer gas planets to prevent large asteroids and comets from frequent collisions with planet; suburban galaxy location providing sufficient distance from recent supernovas; far enough away from gravitational disturbances by higher density of stars in inner area of galaxy; only minor orbital variations caused by small chaotic gravitational interactions between nearby planets.

With these factors the number of planets in our galaxy capable of sustaining human life is much smaller than the media and grant-seeking astronomers imply in their articles. The estimated probable number is likely very close to the experimentally known value of one.

Enrico Fermi's succinct response in 1950 to the question about ETs was, "If they existed, they would be here." That answer was amplified in Frank J. Tipler's article, "Extraterrestrial intelligent beings do not exist" (Royal Astronomical Society, Quarterly Journal, vol. 21, Sept. 1980, p. 267-281).

I always suspected UFOs were from an unfallen race and once in a while they swing by to point us out to their children as bad examples.

Which is why they really don’t want contact with us. You do know that some of those contrails are really alien space ships.

He’s an unidentified flying object
You will see Him in the air
He’s an unidentified flying object
You will drop your hands and stare

You will be afraid to tell your neighbors
They might think that it’s not true
But when they open up the morning papers
They will know they’ve seen Him too

He will come back like He promised
With the price already paid
He will gather up His followers
And take them all away

He’s an unidentified flying object
He will sweep down from the sky
He’s an unidentified flying object
Some will sleep but will not die

He’s an unidentified flying object
Coming back to take you home
He’s an unidentified flying object
He will roll away your stone

*** And if there’s life on other planets
Then I’m sure that He must know
And He’s been there once already
And has died to save their souls

He’s an unidentified flying object
You will see Him in the air
He’s an unidentified flying object
You will drop your hands and stare

He’s an unidentified flying object
Coming back to take you Home
He’s an unidentifed flying object
He will roll away your stone

Is Larry Norman the guy who wrote “Spirit In The Sky”?

Some old hippie church people I knew, knew him.
