It is claimed that the passages predict everyone will flee as young men [are] left to pieces
A CONSPIRACY theorist has claimed that The Bible holds hidden passages which predict Spain will be destroyed by a giant tsunami.
According to a psychic who goes by the name T Chase, Cumbre Vieja on La Palma not far from tourist hotspot Tenerife will be hit first.
It is claimed the devastation will be triggered when a volcano on the Canary Islands erupts, sparking huge tidal waves.
North Africa would then be hit next, it is claimed.
The passages which it is claimed point to the disaster read: Everyone will flee.
It also reads that their hearts will burn and survivors will cry in their desolate houses.
Conspiracy theorists have come up with the theory based on a computer programme which takes extracts of The Bible and rearranges words.
The internet sleuths have bizarrely placed their faith in the programme as a way of predicting future events.

Stupid.
Thanks for the heads-up.
Can’t understand why those kinds of kooks think that God would bother with such mumbo-jumbo.
God has a long history of making Himself very clear.
Somebody’s been watching re-runs on the History channel.
Just as long as it’s after June, when I’ll be there.
There are no encrypted messages in the Bible.
So they took scripture passages, rearranged the words and ‘disovered’ that Spain is doomed. OK then.
Did they give a date?
If Vegas is giving odds I can make a killing taking the over.
“A CONSPIRACY theorist has claimed that The Bible holds hidden passages which predict Spain will be destroyed by a giant tsunami.”
Yeah and its called Syrian refugees.
Not so much.
This is just the kind of high-quality, relevant and well-researched article I come to FR to see.
After all, I’m a Lifetime Member of the Psychic Friends Network!
Well, of course, unless they used the first edition of the King James Bible, the results are invalid.
I dont care
The volcano in the Canary Islands is sheared on the wrong side for that.
To wipe out Spain from the east, it would take something like a volcano/earthquake on the western side of Italy to wreak that havoc. There are certainly candidates, and the Med is shallow enough that a large earthquake might get it done.
But I am not waiting for that to happen.
Anyway, the Bible Code stuff was debunked long ago.
The only thing is the no volcanologist can agree on just what will happen the next time the Cumbre Vieja volcano erupts. Even if there is a large landslide, most of the displaced earth may not make it to the ocean’s edge, which will mean a minimal tsunami generated.
A computer program examines the words of certain Bible verses, then rearranges key words. Seems sort of contrived to me. Besides, even if true, a tsunami doesn’t always mean the end of a country. Sumatra, Indonesian island had a tsunami Dec. 26 2004. The country has changed and population greatly reduced, (over 40K drowned) but the country does still exist.
I live in Spain but on the Mediterranean side of Gibraltar. Will the Tsunami funnel through the Straits and give me beachfront property some day?
The premise was based on the old testament, and specifically the Torah.
Evidently, there is “a way” the books are supposed to be written with an exact copy of letters and words per line. This is so every copy will be exactly the same as the one before it.
This is why they can use the their algorithms to identify phrases that could be “recreated.”
Of course, you could do the same thing with any large volume, and they did it with Moby Dick. They came up with interesting results.
But, it is still bunk. Digital Tea Leaves at best.
I don’t think so.
You’ll have to buy some property on the Atlantic side..........
