Does anyone really believe she was kidnapped?
Yes I do. Have followed this from the beginning. Want to read about it just put in keyword “Elizabeththomas”. This child had/has problems and was perfect target/victim.
Someone please find this dude’s mugshot as I so want to have gloatfeast over it...
No, but they will charge him with it because she was a minor.
Legally, I would agree she was kidnapped. But in real life, she went along willingly.
Or rather I would say she did not remain with him voluntarily.
Why? Take a look at her in the picture of them in the store. Have you ever seen a teen girl who did not fix herself up for her boyfriend?
Her hair is lank, she is wearing no make-up and she is wearing clothes that conceal rather then reveal.
She is also not cuddling up to him.
Not the typical teen in love.
She left of her own free will, but some say she was brainwashed. But I have read that under Tennessee law, if she insists she went willingly and had no sexual contact with him, there is nothing the state can do. Since he took her across state lines, maybe the Feds can do something to him.
