group of scientists say they have discovered “Australia’s Jurassic Park” along the rocky shores of Kimberly, a remote region in Western Australia. As Jonathan Amos reports for the BBC, palaeontologists found a diverse collection of dinosaur footprints in the area—among them the largest dinosaur footprint known to science.
The research team, which was comprised of palaeontologists from the University of Queensland and James Cook University, recorded twenty-one types of fossil footprints stamped into the sandstones of the Dampier Peninsula. They recently published their findings in the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology.
“There were five different types of predatory dinosaur tracks, at least six types of tracks from long-necked herbivorous sauropods, four types of tracks from two-legged herbivorous ornithopods, and six types of tracks from armoured dinosaurs,” lead researcher Steven Salisbury says in a statement. The tracks also provide the only known evidence of stegosaurs in Australia, Salisbury notes.

See what really happens when your climate is much warmer and massive (not the piddle we contribute) amounts of CO2 is released from the ocean? Ecosystem on a scale we can’t imagine. Have any of these idiots worried about warmth spent any time in an equatorial rain forest? Or seen how vibrant and varied the life isn’t at either pole?

I guess you’re referring to Dinosaur Valley State Park and Squaw Creek, near Glen Rose.
We went there about 30 years ago with kids and all enjoyed getting in the creek and seeing the footprints in the limestone bottom. The water was shallow and clear.

The drawings in that recently discovered perfectly sealed/preserved cave in France match very closely to the animals described in the Book of Job. When I first saw them I thought maybe we had found Job’s art studio.
