Is anyone else constantly getting the following errors when trying to load a forum, display a thread, or post a new thread on FR? I'm not getting a single one on any other website.
This page can’t be displayed
• Make sure the web address http://www.freerepublic.com is correct.
• Look for the page with your search engine.
• Refresh the page in a few minutes.
The website cannot display the page
HTTP 500
Most likely causes:
• The website is under maintenance.
• The website has a programming error.
What you can try:
Refresh the page.
Go back to the previous page.

I’ve been having lots of trouble just posting replies today. Page loading times are also very long, but that’s been going on since the last FR outage.

It is like the dancing dog — not that it does it well but that it does it at all. It isn’t really all that expensive and my personal company pays for it anyway. So you take what you can get.
Setting up a VLAN or box or something is not worth the hassle and I am not going to reconfigure everything for occasional visits.

Lots of incomplete page loads in recent weeks, even months, now repeated HTTP500 errors today.
I am noticing really slow page load times on FR in the last week or so.

FR has been painfully slow for months.
I didn’t even ping anyone, and my thread got more hits! Living right I guess?

I tried to respond, but got sent to an “Error Page”
Guess “They” got tired
The pages have been loading very slowly for several days now.
