Sorry but I missed it as something came up. Don't see any breaking news here telling me it was a bombshell. If nobody's in an orange jumpsuit, it's a nothing burger.
Cotton is a soldier; he can handle the flak. Hes one of the few really good congress critters in DC today.
———————————————\
OH I know he can handle the flak, he is the only one to vote against Iran deal...However, he is going to need support and backing by Freepers calling their Senators to support his bill.
OH, and he’s no Congress Critter any more...He’s the Honorable Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas, “The Natural State” ;)
I thought the term ‘Bombshell’ is a reference to a rather well equipped woman.
Is that sexist? If so then; “Va Va Voom!”.
She says all the right things, but she’s just impossible to listen to for more than couple of minutes
She says all the right things, but she’s just impossible to listen to for more than couple of minutes
I hope that's a rhetorical question because I think we both know it would be hard to gauge just how stupid low info voters really are.
Sometimes I think we should go back to the days when the voter has to have some skin in the game like just being a taxpayer (and not tax taker) or a property owner (who of course also pays taxes). The problem is the gimmedat's who can vote but only to benefit themselves and usually vote the way their current leadership like Al Sharpton or whomever it is for the Mexicans tell them to.
I'm just glad Trump won. No one else was talking about the single most important threat to America (immigration) other than Trump. We got real lucky he was in the running this time. I don't think any of the other republicans could have won even though HRC was the biggest crook in America already and not even elected yet and used her previous positions to make money illegally. Why she isn't being prosecuted for that is beyond my understanding.
I meant no offense. When I think of the DC congress I think of both the House and Senate but we both know senators are more "elite" but also more distant from their constituents whereas the House reps are closer to the people by design.
I kinda think we should go back to the system we had where the state politicians get together and decide whom to send as their senators rather than the people. Pros and cons to both I suppose.
> Bombshell ought to never be used on Frrerepublic. Or breaking.
True. Sometimes I wish freerepublic had voting to down vote the “bombshell” posts and various other click bait.
“Paul Ryan needs to step down as Speaker”
Since he works for the American people I would say that
he ought to step aside rather than down.
#TechnicalCorrectnessMatters
It could have been sending a message to the Establishment Repubs, especially Ryan...I thought it was a pretty clear message..
This is from recently released Watergate records:
http://media.nara.gov/research/watergate-sealed-court-records/DOCID-59162107.PDF
Charles Morgan of the ACLU discussing in Camera with Judge Sirica and US Attorney Earl Silbert the contents of Alfred Baldwin’s FBI interview regarding persons and subjects overheard on the Spencer Oliver tap:
Morgan: “We go over to that very short portion of the FBI statement that I was provided and find the following names, Bob Strauss, Wilbur Mills, and we find again Ida Wells, Bobby Allen (won YDA presidency vs Steny Hoyer in Hot Springs, Ark.1971), Robert Kennedy (Morgan possibly misspoke and meant Barbara Kennedy a DNC secretary), and a copy of the document that I received, Your Honor, was a Xerox, and I couldn’t quite quite make out some of it, appeared to be stricken through the name Al Barker, which I think is misspelled in there (Al Bracken AFL-CIO official), AFL-CIO, Senator Humphrey, Senator McGovern, Spencer Oliver again, John Richardson from the State department, and then certain entities are mentioned...
Well there is also (deleted), a British delegation, the American Young Political Leaders Congress, the Atlantic Chapter of that, the American Young Political Leaders Congress again (transcript withheld)...
Now this comes straight from Bill Clinton’s book My Life:
“I started my job (May 1972) for McGovern in Washington, first checking in with Lee Williams and my
other friends (like Marsha Scott, Bruce Lindsey) on Senator Fulbrights staff, then going to see Congressman Wilbur Mills, the powerful chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee. Mills, who was a Washington legend for his detailed knowledge of the tax code and his skill in running his committee, had announced that he would be Arkansas favorite son candidate at the Miami convention.” Top staffers for Mills in 1972 were Patsy Thomasson and Dolores McDougal.
Alfred Baldwin, the man hired to monitor the tapped phone at the Watergate, testified that the conversations he overheard were “intimately explicit” and “primarily sexual”.
From Alfred Baldwin, the Watergate bug eavesdropper hired by Watergate burglar James McCord relating his Watergate era story on The Education Forum: 2005:
Between 1966 and 1972 I worked as the Director of Security for a multi-state trucking firm. I left this position to work for a retired Naval Admiral who was creating a college degree program for law enforcement personnel who desired a college degree in the police administration and law enforcement field. I was hired as his assistant with the task of hiring adjunct professors as well as teaching law related subjects. The college was the University of New Haven located in New Haven. Yes, there are other colleges/universities other than Yale located in New Haven.”
From Bill Clinton’s book My Life describing his various jobs as a student at Yale circa 1971-72:
“My other job was less hazardous but more interesting. I taught criminal law to undergraduates in a law-enforcement program at the University of New Haven. My position was funded under the Federal Law Enforcement Assistance program, which had just started under Nixon. The classes were designed to produce more professional law officers who could make arrests, searches, and seizures in a constitutional manner. I often had to prepare my lectures late in the evening before the day I delivered them. To stay awake, I did a lot of my work at the Elm Street Diner, about a block away from our house. It was open all night, had great coffee and fruit pie, and was full of characters from New Havens night life...The street outside the diner was the border dividing the territory of two groups of street-walking prostitutes. From time to time the police took them away, but they were always quickly back at work. The streetwalkers often came into the diner to get coffee and warm up. When they found out I was in law school, several would plop down in my booth in search of free legal advice. I did my best, but none took the best advice: get another job.”
“WHATEVER HAPPENED TO Cameron getting a scoop?”
We are NOT going to get the real information from ANY news outlet.
If you want to know what is happening, you will have to spend the time to watch the important Youtube feeds.
Then you will have to use your own intelligence to figure out who is lying, who is misdirecting you, and who is being fed false information.
It is not easy.
Those that need to be spoon fed will remain as uninformed as a baby.
This link is just an example:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thYce7wAYyM
Audio about Sheriff Joe and Montgomery .
Discussing the information Montgomery stole for Clapper and Brennan. Bank Accounts....They are laughing over the gathering of info on Judge Roberts and the FISA court judge.
Montgomery hacked Eric Holders emails....
The information is on the web. It is on Free Republic.
For those other posters wanting a “Quickie” run down, you will get a “Quickie”. not a long term understanding of what we are really dealing with.
Carl Cameron or FOX is not going to save us. On the above link, they try to talk to Carl about Montgomery, Hammer, etc.. He is too busy to talk to them. He is blowing smoke up their butts. He came out and filmed Montgomery, was supposed to “investigate” the poor slubs that had their bank account information and other info stolen by Montgomery via Hammer under the instructions of Clapper and Brennan.
NOTHING happened. One of the participants talks about about how nothing will happen. Congress will not touch this. There is NO WHERE to bring this!!!
Take some time and follow this link and also the other links others have posted. Drugs, body part traffic. It is all there but you need to do the work yourself so you can listen to it all and decide for yourself.
My personal opinion is that there is so much on the verge of breaking loose (Hammer, Pedogate, Drugs, Body Parts, etc.) the deep state will have to generate a major False Flag.
A MAJOR FALSE FLAG!!
Something on the order of a nuke attack attributed to North Korea, an Israeli War, Alien Disclosure (use of advanced weapons and platforms that appear “alien”), etc.
These people will not go gently.
We need a new thread category: “Bombshell News”.........LOL!
You over look the most salient point
The House does not want, and lacks the votes to elect “conservative” leadership
Politics is the art of the possible
I think it was Mills who kept a secretary in his office who didn’t know how to type.
Oldie Goldie Wilbur Mills!
It’s a small world when you’re a super-sleazy, corrupt, disgraced-pervert-politician.
1976: Elizabeth Ray was ostensibly hired to serve as a secretary to U.S. Representative Wayne Hays. However, it soon became clear that her actual job consisted of providing sexual favors. That may have been just as well since, by her own admission, I cant type, I cant file, I cant even answer the phone. Hays, the Ohio Democrat who chaired the House Administration Committee, saw his political career collapse.
Right you are! Many thanks. Nowadays, thanks to “Hammer”, these little embarrassments are kept under wraps in order to control voting, etc. in Congress.
OH, and hes no Congress Critter any more...Hes the Honorable Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas, The Natural State ;)
I meant no offense. When I think of the DC congress I think of both the House and Senate but we both know senators are more “elite” but also more distant from their constituents whereas the House reps are closer to the people by design.
