Cotton is a soldier; he can handle the flak. He’s one of the few really good congress critters in DC today.

OH I know he can handle the flak, he is the only one to vote against Iran deal...However, he is going to need support and backing by Freepers calling their Senators to support his bill.

OH, and he’s no Congress Critter any more...He’s the Honorable Senator Tom Cotton from Arkansas, “The Natural State” ;)

I meant no offense. When I think of the DC congress I think of both the House and Senate but we both know senators are more "elite" but also more distant from their constituents whereas the House reps are closer to the people by design.

I kinda think we should go back to the system we had where the state politicians get together and decide whom to send as their senators rather than the people. Pros and cons to both I suppose.
