By the way, in case you didnt know, theres a huge movie opening tonight: Disneys live action feature Beauty and the Beast. Previews kicked off at 6PM EST in Imax, PLF and Cinemark XD auditoriums with regular 2D shows starting at 7PM. Non-Disney early estimates are pegging Beauty and the Beast between $12M-$14M for tonight, which would blow away recent Disney live action titles, The Jungle Book ($4.2m Thursday, $32M Friday) on its first Thursday and Cinderella ($2.3M Thursday, $23M Friday). Thats a great start for a female-skewing film and unlike last years Batman v. Superman which was frontloaded with a $27.7M Thursday the best for the month of March sources notions are that Beauty will blossom throughout the weekend.

That is a shame. This will only embolden Hollywood to feed children their corrupt worldviews.
I bet the audiences don’t know it’s a fag film.................
Pretty soon it will be against the law to make a heterosexual romance movie.
Nope, the culture war is far from done. The beheadable millenials and hippies were winning, but Generation Z already defeated them by helping Trump win via Reddit’s the_donald.
Besides, most of the few places where the beheadable millenials herd themselves together probably won’t exist by the end of the decade.
No.
It was people on the right thinking the Streisand Effect doesn’t apply to us when we made it into the movie scandal of 2017.
They turned the damn thing into one big virtue signal opportunity for the left.
Next time just dont talk about the stupid thing, and let it flop on its own.
And the article cites Batman v Superman last year. Also initially projected to succeed wildly. But within days the word was on the street: Batman v Superman stunk on ice. As a result it under-performed. BADLY.
Beauty and the Beast will likely have one solid weekend and then plummet. It's currently at 67% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not good for any Disney movie, much less a spring tentpole one.
Look at their most recent ads.
It is all duplicates from the animation not anything new from the live action.
Just from the new commercial Watson is clearly miscast.
also their “reviews” are the tiny print nobodies.
Fox had the director or something who was calling it a “feminist vision” and a challenge to “our roles in society”
Presales can only go so far and the real issue is staying power.
It has gone from classic story to feminist propaganda to homosexual propaganda to chick flick to landfill.
Disney must not worry about repeat customers.
One friend told me that the so called “gay” scene was much overblown. You could have looked one way or closed your eyes a few seconds and not even noticed it.
It was the producers who publicly told us that LeFou was a gay character. If he had simply kept his mouth shut, nobody would even have noticed.
Disney made the bold move of spreading rumors about a gay reference to spin up media coverage.
Is it done politically correct? Is the Beast a transexual “lesbian” now?
Fake news
Perhaps when Gaston finds Le Fou has the hots for Gaston he will cry “GIVE ME BACK MY BEAST’S GIRL!”
Hollyweird trying to save itself. I know Moms and Aunts like me won’t be taking their little girls to see it. Maybe we impact revenues, maybe not, however, Disney is flooding my Facebook right now. They haven’t done that in the past for new releases.
ticket sales do not necessarily equate to the same number of butts in seats when it comes to pushing political agenda
The first movie I saw which had an overtly queer character was THE FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS.
It was a more innocent time and a local paper said it was a fun movie for kids and “even had a SISSY vampire”.
Most of us went to ogle Sharon Tate. She did not show much but she was nice eye candy.
After this it seemed most major movies started including more queers in the plots, even when not necessary to the story line.
