The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation had researchers at Trent University’s Wildlife Forensic DNA Laboratory test the chicken from several fast food chains, including McDonald’s, Wendy’s, A&W, Tim Hortons and Subway.
Most of the scores were between 85 and 90 percent chicken DNA. Except at Subway.
The oven roasted chicken scored 53.6 percent chicken DNA and the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki (chicken strips) had just 42.8 percent chicken DNA, according to the CBC Marketplace investigation.

So what else is in the meat? According to the DNA testing, it’s soy.

Chinese restaurants follow the same equation and recipe: chicken = cat/dog etc.
What other varmints are in the ‘chicken’ and why would it vary by goopy dressing?

Newspapers would be better for you. Unfermented soy causes increases in estrogen in men and boys.
I have only eaten at Subway once. My Brother and I stopped by one not far from here.
He is a bit of an epicure and I am not. He said his was not very good. I thought it was OK but not great. Neither of us thought it was good enough to try again.
My first thoughts, the rest is recycled newspaper and old socks.

Our local Chinese restaurant owners raise their own chickens and sell some to other restaurants. I occasionally drive by where the chickens run free range.
