Last year the Academy, liberal to the CORE, was attacked with "Oscars so White"...a pathetic excuse for people with no life to get worked up....
The call for affirmative action on the voters, etc. in Hollyweird was heard. Changes were promised.
So THIS year, a director's first movie, about a black homosexual, WINS.
Look, maybe it WAS the Best Picture of all last year. Maybe. But could this be the effect of Hollywood's Guilty Feelings from last year?
Now it’s, #OscarsSoGringo.
No.
The Russians hacked the voting.
Slutty Japanese Waif!?
Yep.
It’s a mutual admiration society for brainwashed poodles.
It's fact. The professional accomplishments of these women are well-chronicled. One of them, Katherine Johnson, is still alive at 98 years old. Until now, the accomplishments of these women, who succeeded on their own merits, have not seen the light of day. One can only assume it's because they did it on their own, within the system.
Could it be that Affirmative Action and Quotas, by holding minorities to a lower standard, have held minorities back by not demanding they reach their full potential?
Look at how the poodles eat up the myth of Matthew Shepherd.
Drug dealer killed by his fellow, well known, methamphetamine playmates.
In their SJW world, he’s a heroic victim.... just like them.

All I know is the highlights of the best picture award on the news reminds me of a dnc primary.
Wouldn’t that be profiling?

We haven’t been to a movie in years. It was some kind of
a thing about apes taking over the world & an astronaut
returning from a long space voyage to find that apes now
ruled. Sort of “Planet of the Apes”, but a new version.
Before that one, we hadn’t been to a movie at a theater in
at least twenty years.
Hollyweird certainly wasn’t about to award Desmond Doss’s
story, though it did get a “nod” from them. - If they
thought they were appeasing blacks with the homosexual
black angle . . . FAIL!!
I’m still wondering why those liberals there don’t protest that the 0scar statue is male and sexist.
Most Best Picture and Best Director Oscars are about guilt. They almost always go to folks nobody can believe didn’t win before. It’s not like the competition was that stiff this year, the primary reason folks thought La La Land would win is the Academy looooves movies about the industry.
I wouldn’t say it hadn’t seen the light of day. There’s books about them and what they did. Of course we’re a post literary society so maybe books aren’t the light of day.
There have been books about the women portrayed in Hidden Figures, but my point is they’ve been snubbed by those whose agenda is affirmative action and quotas. Don’t blame the “post literary society”. This movie has been popular far exceeding expectations. Until now, the information hasn’t been easy to find.
I don’t think anybody has really been snubbed, there’s a billion things to make movies about, somethings just get to wait, meanwhile books. Since there have been books about it the info has been plenty easy to find to anybody who could be bothered. That’s the only real difference, movies get these ad campaigns and MAKE people look, books just come out.
Thanks again.
You’re quite welcome.
