A member of my family has Oscars on... That's why I am watching some parts of the show...If I had my way, I would watch something else...
Mel Gibson's film won sounds effects award...
LA, did the sex trafficking sting in your neck of the woods make TV much? 400 perps.
And everyone here laughed.
I responded “Is it funny to have that many cities rioting , having businesses and cars burnt?”.
Crickets...
if they like fox so much they should put him movies
Uhm....Hips, Lips and ***’s combined with stunning looks and the ability to charm a snake.
Respect.
So Kimmel has to act like a elementary school teacher trying to keep the unruly children in line, oh brother.
one of the most beautiful people on the planet
Samuel l Jackson
Really? Thought he was just there as a seat filler
All my life my dream was to work in the business (behind the camera). At a relatively old age, I packed up and moved to LA because I didn’t want to look back and regret not trying. I was one of the lucky ones to get my foot in the door and stay there until I had to move back to the Midwest to take care of my mom. After a few years she died and had I been younger, I would have returned. I missed everything about the world of show business and ached that I wasn’t a part of the show I had worked on, missed the friends I had made, missed the neighborhood I lived in. After this last year, I am so disgusted and angry at the behavior of the Hollywood community, many of whom I know personally or have worked with. (There is a large populace of conservatives in Hollywood, but we all know to keep our mouths shut). The yearning is dissipating as my respect for those who I considered mentors have waned. For this, I am sad.
Good post! I love the movies too.I love being in the theater when the lights go down, alone in my own little world w/ my snacks. I’ve loved them since I was a kid. They are an escape & magic away from all the everyday issues & problems.
Enjoy the Oscars, I have to get up early. ; )
“I do. Thats a new TV. Id smash it in five minutes.
Dont know if I saw a movie in 2016.
If I want, Ill watch one of them in a year when its free on Prime.
Got sick of walking out after 10 minutes cursing because of the politics.”
I have a strange story. I mostly avoid hollywood and haven’t been to a movie theater since my High School Senior year in ‘89.
I have a Roku and, for some strange reason, I signed up for a free month of HBO this week.
Well, I’ve watched two shows the past 3 nights: “Big Love” and “Game of Thrones”. As you know, Bill Paxton from “Big Love” died yesterday and I just read that a very tall actor from “Game of Thrones” died today.
In the past 3 days, I’ve watched 2 shows and an actor from each show has died.
I’m beginning to think I’m a jinx. Maybe I should search for a Meryl Streep or Sean Penn movie, lol.
I know, that is a mean thing to say but I couldn’t resist.
I was sad about Bill Paxton, though. He was very good in “Big Love”.
john cho and leslie mann hilarious
Most shocking event so far: being disappointed by Scarlet Johannsen’s appearance. That took effort but she did it.
I haven’t noticed. Is she next to Michelle Williams. I’ll try to pay attention.
Just actors or do you think the entire industry is that way?
Not on in my house. I have absolutely no interest in that garbage.
No kidding.
That took a severe act of self loathing to put that costume on.
Hideous hair.
Hideous, hideous dress.
Makeup artist must’ve have been pissed.
Do you know the meaning of the song ‘Both Sides Now’? I hate that tune, but I don’t understand it, either.
Jennifer Aniston too
Something weird going on with her face, fillers or Botox?
Oh, a journalist... got it.
Great time to switch over to “Billions”.
