With executioners like Al Frankenstein, Patty Murray and the maniacal Elizabeth Warren lobbing shrapnel-loaded hand grenades in her face, her best bet was to keep smiling, nodding, filibustering the questions, giving safe answers and allowing these disgusting senators NOTHING TO HANG THEIR HOOKS ON.

All I know is, when I heard some of these questions, I would have insulted them right back, and that would not have played well on the news.
Yes, Betsy DeVos most certainly does NOT NEED this job. She is already rich. I give her a lot of credit for putting up with the attacks by Rat senators and keep her composure.
Again, the main point of their attack was her lack of knowledge of rules and regulation and laws in reference to the education complex. If I was her, I would have said something like...
“Both Obama’s nominees for this position of secretary of education were deeply entrenched inside the education complex, and had intimate knowledge of rules and regulations. Yet, student performance is worse than ever. Which can mean only one thing, that we need to think outside the box, and serious change of direction is needed. That is the exactly the same reason Donald Trump won the election. He is a consummate outsider, same as me.”
