Now that the UN is in the express lane of joining the League of Nations in the ash heap of History thanks to its sanction of Israel, and its planned recognition of Palestine, its will shortly be time for President Trump to establish a new world world organization uncorrupted by tyrants and terrorists.
If so, then he will have deserved his Nobel Peace Prize!

Without a world congress, all international affairs would occur in the embassies and ministries of the most powerful nations, and well out of the public eye. While a congress will not eliminate all backroom dealing, it would, nonetheless, set an expectation that international affairs should be openly addressed, rather than not. The whirlpool of military alliances which brought on World War One obviated the need for an international body, if only to minimize the possibility of subterranian fear and loathing stupidly putting the planet through another nihilistic conflagration, due to another silly local fistfight.
Get the United States out of the United Nations, and the United Nations out of the United States

we have various mondern means of doing this (internet, telephone, carrier pigeon, etc.)

We don’t need a world organization like the UN. Sooner or later whatever you expect Trump to establish will be corrupted by tyrants. It’s how life works. History repeats itself.
To many Homeland Security sounded like a good idea. I hated it from the start as I knew once the left got their hands on it, it would be reminiscent of the Fatherlands Gestapo. Gee, guess what happened?
And I really don’t think Trump is dumb enough to set something up as a UN replacement.

No, this proposed world congress would NOT just be a clone of the United Nations! The UN’s replacement would incorporate reforms based on the lessons learned from all of its well-known flaws. Absolute perfection can only be found in Heaven, but we humans MOST CERTAINLY can do better than this corrupted United Nations!

Don’t get me wrong: The UN’s replacement could easily be a well-moderated Facebook page, as I am not married to the notion of a brick-and-mortar structure of any kind. After all, we DO live in the 21st-century!

The U.N. was structured by a Soviet spy (Alger Hiss) with the express intent to foster a Marxist world government. While some sort of rational international organization is needed in a time of worldwide trade, jet travel and instant communications, the U.N. isn’t it. We can’t get rid of this outmoded and anti-sovereignty, anti-capitalist relic fast enough to suit me.
Even better, 0bama won’t be able to run for UN Secretary General.
While pointed out many times, it is interesting the O administration has rallied the world to lift sanctions on the worlds most authoritarian and deadly sponsors of global terror, even using US back channels in supporting ISIS, while working overtime to destroy the one democratic nation in the entire ME region.
New World Organizations need to form. No one world group. How about The Anglosphere Confederation? English speaking nations only. The league of Catholic Nations? The alliance of Europe. The Asian Co-Properity Sphere?
