Although Clinton didnt end up becoming the first woman president of the United States, she broke a major barrier by becoming the first presidential nominee of a major party. She did so by putting women at the center of her platform, offering progressive policies like enacting paid family leave, raising the minimum wage, and fighting for reproductive rights.

She made history in 2012 when she became the first out trans woman to work at the White House, where she interned with the Office of Public Engagement. The best moment for women was when the Washington Compost's state by state prediction map turned out to be wildly inaccurate. The best thing for women is to be judged as people and not just selected to be the "first woman" in whatever position. Being judged as a person is as good as it gets.
