In August, I went on six dates in one week. I had decided that I was ready to look for a partner. Enough of this dating unavailable men a half-decade younger than me. Theyd never seriously consider a relationship with me, my two children and our needy dog. No. I wanted to find an equal. A man who wouldnt feel the need to step in and rescue me. I didnt need rescuing. But I knew deep down that was only partially true. I often felt the sort of loneliness that settled in my stomach, starting from a chaotic afternoon with my children, lasting well into the night when I pulled covers tight around my chin.

I feel that same way. Ever since Trump’s election, I haven’t felt myself. It’s stolen my sense of normalcy and easiness that I had before. From the moment I wake up and have my coffee until I settle into bed after a long day of caring for my family and struggling to reduce my carbon footprint, I simply can’t get used to winning this much. I feel guilty for winning this much. I don’t think it’s supposed to be this way.
Yet another reason for the men of America, at least, to thank gooodness for Donald Trump.
I hadn’t thought of that angle. She very well could be going on 6 “dates” a week.
What this lady needs is a man in her life, not a fellow snowflake who’s crying himself to sleep every night because Hillary lost.
Her loss is men’s gain.
Do straight women also look for a partner , instead of a man, mate, or a boyfriend, husband?
Heretofore, I've only heard lesbians and homosexuals refer to their "mates" as their partners.
That’s just a matter of adding another tracking block service list to the add-on ad-track blocker extension in my IE tools.....I’ll look if brave.com has a list I can add to it.
You get the same message that I did from wapo, right?
“I scrub lizards with a toothbrush.”
I have to admit that that is a sentence I never thought I would read.
You don’t have to read very far to understand why she’s a single mom.
My first reaction. . . .the poor children.
Sounds like ole Stephanie needs more “rescuing” than she realizes. But that’s OK, she’s saving any potential partner having to deal with her and her “issues.”
With a sweet personality many men would be happy with a woman who looked like that.
Maybe she looks OK from the back.
The presstitute stridently chased away he husband and is now damaged goods. Hi maintenance damaged goods that includes an unloved and needed dog aren’t really marketable
No quality man wants any part of that.
Yet another LIB loser bites the dust. Bwahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Really, what can one do but point and laugh?
She's not unattractive...about halfway between stunning and fugly.

Years ago I was at a conference for work and the hippie couple running one of the workshops introduced themselves as “life partners”. I think it’s an “enlightened “ way for the smart and superior straight people to let everyone know that they don’t need marriage as it’s “just a piece of paper “; they are at a higher level of understanding and commitment.
Plus-marriage was instituted by God, whom they have also rejected.
