For the life of me I cannot figure out why Drudgereport is ignoring the PizzaGate story.

It does tarnish everybody. The conservative movement doesn’t need whackos peddling conspiracies. I thought maybe there must be something to it - so I watched several of the “smoking gun” PizzaGate videos. I read the “must read” blog posts that supposedly pinpointed all of their evidence. None of it adds up to squat. Lots of creeps, individuals who may be sickos personally (Tony Podesta, talking about you here) - but extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - which is also something the pedo “researchers” adamantly refute - they said you must err to “save the children” - sure, throw 50 people in jail on the OFF chance that there might be a small chance they are connected to a crime. That’s really how we roll here in America. If they actually HAD real evidence, the FBI would in fact be investigating, without a doubt. These nutjobs even think the FBI has its own pedo ring.
Could that be true? I guess -but you’ll need to show me some serious evidence, which of course they don’t, and can’t.
I used the word “seem” which indicates that I could be mistaken about what some freepers think.
I don’t know whether this story has legs or not but I have an open mind because I think the Clintons, Epstein, Weiner & Podesta are freaks. And THAT is proven. No one believed that PP was selling human parts by splitting open faces and taking brains until Mr. O’Keefe produced evidence.

I have noticed we have a lot of posters that are trying to get free republic to go with wild speculation as truth... admittedly I find his e- mails dubis at best and seem to be indicative of something other then pizza being discussed but all of the wild speculation I believe is a combination of a couple trolls flaming speculation with no other purpose but to make us as a web site look bad. and those that are getting excited over a scandal that has the potential of taking out key democratic players.

My husband (lawyer) had a client whose brother had a similar story. He spent time in JAIL because his stepdaughter wanted to get her way - and even though her best friend or somebody was on record saying she lied - the guy still spent a year or 2 in jail, and the teenager got exactly what she wanted. Terrible said story, and why witch hunts even for pedos should NOT be tolerated.

Is there any doubt that the state run media would have been running this story 24/7 if repubikans were implicated?
That argument is a double-edged sword. And there is evidence sufficient for a formal investigation.

Why would I legitimize your idiotic accusations by even bothering to deny them? I know the LBJ trick and I chose not to fall for it.
It IS 100% fiction. Those are NOT from the Podesta e-mails. They are INTERPRETATIONS of the e-mails based on someone insisting the e-mails are actually coded messages and they’ve cracked the code. Meanwhile there’s no proof at all that the e-mails are code for anything or said code was cracked. Which is why it’s all fiction. Like a Dan Brown novel, only even more poorly structured and written.
To claim the evidence isn’t strong enough to for a conviction is one thing. I even agree with that.
But to falsely claim there is no evidence, when the evidence is an objective fact, and is strong enough to qualify as probable cause for a formal investigation, does make you complicit.
