WASHINGTON – Election eve 2016 began without any real sign of a gathering storm. No hint a popular revolt was brewing. In fact, just the opposite.

In direct contrast, the mood in the camp of the Democratic Party presidential candidate was described as confident, expectant and already almost celebratory.
Giddy.
When the first polls closed on the East Coast and the first results began to come in, those moods seemed to be swiftly confirmed by reality. The pre-election polls were not wrong. Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton immediately took the lead.
And she was winning in the battleground states. . . . . .

Good post. I had assumed God was done with us due to the high number of Americans who have rejected God. Pushed him away. Now I see that He is still here for his people and still listening to our prayers.
This election was nothing short of a miracle.
Lord God, please keep Trump safe and don’t let him be assassinated. Some evil cretin on the left is going to try.

Yes because every time Dems screw crap up Reps are then elected. Once things get fixed the stupid sheep go back and reelect Dems again! Seen this crap time and time again!

I am sure you know more about it than me. I just found it eye popping when I saw all of those banners. My high school had the Earth Club, but I don’t remember too many others. I went to law school for abotu 1.5 years, and I was perhaps 1 of 3 conservatives in my class the other 60 or so seemed very liberal. All of them wanted to be an advocate of some cause. The 3 of us, seemed like the only ones there that wanted to make any money out of the deal.
This reminds me. When I was in middle school, I decided to check out the earth club. Anyway, one day, the leader told us about the logging in Oregon (I think), and how it was going to kill off some owl. She went on and on and on. Then she suggested that we all write letters. So, I began to write a letter, basically regurgitating what she told me. She stopped me, and pulled up the overhead screen, and told us to copy down what she wrote there. Three things came out of that. 1. I never went to the Earth Club again. 2. I never liked that teacher again. 3. It was the beginning of my deep distrust in liberals.
Or the fact that nobody wanted another Clinton and wanted to break the “family” led presidency? We were getting into a habit with Dad’s and sons and wives running the country. Trump is different. Never held political office, a billionaire, been married 3 times, has kids that are college educated, interested in business and the free market in helping run the country. Jobs not an overabundance of laws and regulations, willing to modify his position on a few things, can say no and make it stick. As far as morals...well...he is human and not any kind of messiah.

We knew before 7pm that Trump would win Florida and North Carolina...thus we knew he would win.
God can intervene.
I believe we’ll see Trump modify some of his positions. He’s already done it with illegals. Now he plans only to deport those with criminal backgrounds.
Oh, please. Millions of people had been praying for months.
God our Father. Thank you for this victory.
That was part of it, but not all of it.
Never in history has a candidate had more against him for the whole campaign. God answered prayers of His people in a number of ways - the voters hitting the polls was part of that - but not all.
Comey was part of it, Wikileaks, Drudge, Limbaugh & his talk radio friends, low Dem voter count due to Hillary being such a terrible candidate, Hillary herself, and much more. 8 years of living under Obama had a lot to do with it. A page or more could be written listing all the pieces.
But the big picture says it was God. Being merciful.
We’d better take the next 4 years to turn back to Him - or more just might come right back afterwards.....
I believe we saw His work in the revelation of the vast Weiner email cache.
And in the photos of Hillary falling over on 9/11.
With all the zillions of prayers on behalf of Trump makes it obvious, to me at least, that He has heard our prayers. Praise His name and give thanks but it mustn’t end there.....like has been mentioned, we still pray for wisdom for President Trump and most of all for his safety. Thank you Lord........:)
