Ugh! I have been completely distracted and almost obsessed with what's going to happen next in this election with WikiLeaks, etc.
I keep on checking out freerepublic.com or Twitter.
I can't wait until this election is over with so I can get back with my normal life. Is anyone else here at all distracted by this election and all the news about it?

Here here. It’s compounded by fact that I live in VERY LIBERAL area and have very few TRUMP supporting friends and even those who do aren’t as “high stakes” about it the way I am...
I’ve been working at home at night to insure I don’t fall behind due to some slacking during the day :-).
I kind of work for myself and the people I do work with also work ridiculous, crazy, non-constant schedules like myself ... but this particular crazy-crazy schedule happens to me every single damn election :-).
Today I’m watching the Elizabeth Warren dropping Hillary from Twitter thread personally ... something huge is bubbling up ... I cannot wait to see what this is (I’m just hoping I am not repulsed and sickened by it).
This thread is distracting me from all the other threads.
I found myself assigned some kind of probationary status at FreeRepublic a few weeks ago after some heated conversations, but it's all good now. LOL.
My dog died Saturday. The email issue is helping my mom and me with our sadness. Sometimes a distraction is welcome ;)

Me. I have barely left the computer since Friday. We have eaten too much take out, I haven’t worked out, my house is a mess, the laundry is piling up, my homeschooled son has not had my full attention, etc.

Oh yes! House is a mess, dogs get run around only 1 block instead of the normal hour outing, haven’t seen friends in a week and work - what work!

One day last week, I got up at 3:45 (it was the day Kim Dot Com was rumored to be leaking the emails). I am the kind of person, once awake, I am up. I resisted checking my phone until about 4:15--then it was all over I was up for the day--dragging. Another day, I checked Twitter while putting gas in my car. I am not getting anything done.

Trust me, that will detract you away from the election. You will find that you only have to check FR every 10 minutes or so rather than your normal 15 seconds.

I blew every To Do item on my list last weekend when this thing really started to roll in favor of sitting in front of a computer. I regret the time it takes me to commute from work to home and log in the minute the door closes behind me. When I go to the pilot relief tube, please, somebody intervene!
