A dust-up between Ammon Bundy and a deputy U.S. marshal late Thursday while defendants and their lawyers were allowed to remain in a federal courtroom to confer after the conspiracy trial had adjourned for the day has resulted in reduced privileges for Bundy.
Bundy got onto an online chat room using his defense lawyer's computer in Courtroom 9A to send a message to his wife, and the deputy told him to stop and get off the computer, according to the U.S. Marhsals Service.
Bundy was "very disrespectful" and declared he wasn't going to follow the deputy's directions, saying: "i'm not going to do what you want," Deputy U.S. Marshal Troy Gangwisch told U.S. District Judge Robert E. Jones in a brief status hearing Friday afternoon.
Bundy's defense lawyer, Marcus Mumford, told the court that he was about 10 to 15 feet away when the dispute occurred.
Mumford said his client just wanted to send his wife a message, telling her that he loved her.
"All I heard was the aftermath," Mumford said. "The marshal and Mr. Bundy exchanged words."
As a result, the U.S. Marshals Service moved to end the special accomodations the court had made for Bundy to meet together with his lawyers, as well as brother Ryan Bundy, a co-defendant in the trial, in a locked room in the courthouse as they've done about 20 times to help them prepare and work on their defense.......

Now we get this accusation of 'disrespect' against Ammon Bundy from another federal marshal.
The trial was not in session yesterday but this hearing was held on the federal marshal's accusation.
Perhaps we are seeing retaliation from the federal side after what trial observers who support the defendants said was an excellent performance by Ammon Bundy on the witness stand Thursday. They said he made fools out of the prosecutors and their ally, the judge.
The Oregon Standoff Trial is set to resume on Tuesday.
Link failure.
Here is the link to the story.

We are living in Nazi Germany.
A republic with constitutionally-limited government powers is the best imaginable form of government, as Ben Franklin said, “if you can keep it”. What we have now is mob rule. The mob likes Barack Hussein and Hillary because they promise free stuff. The mob likes putting ranchers in their place because (1) ranchers are independent and productive, and (2) stolen ranch land can then be given to those with connections, building the hope that other mob rule supporters will earn the same largess from big government.
There is one hell of a difference between a Federal Marshal and a County Sheriff. Federal Marshal’s IMHO get no respect. They are no better than your average bureaucrat appointee, but apparently they have a much higher opinion of themselves. Best we get rid of another armed force outside the control of “we the people”.
Kangaroo court
Oh and one more point, why do you think a Federal Marshal would want to make it more difficult for Mr Bundy to prepare for his trial, and go before a judge to make that case. This to me is pure insanity, had I been the judge I would have throw his rear out of my office, chambers, or court. Get over it, if you felt disrespect why didn’t you pull your gun and shoot his ass, that would have solved the problem no?
SOME one knows who this jerk is - and other particulars.
Kangaroos are smiling.

You familiar with Judge Anna J. Brown’s history? Federal bonus pay for judges?
Interesting piece about side pay for judges, and a mysteriously dead defense attorney in a Judge Brown case:

I’m thinking more along the lines a little further east with 30’s show trials.
Special accommodation that’s rich. I could vomit from the whole thing.
Stalinists. Nazis. Both socialist based totalitarianism
Indeed. With a thin veneer of selectively applied law.
These older cops were SUCH a comfort to be around compared to the fancy schmancy younger generation feds.
I'm gonn'a guess the Marshal in question is a younger guy ...... older cops are more human.
(BTW, FBI charge dropped, end of story)
That worked pretty well to get rid of those pesky dissidents in the Soviet Union.
Anyone who thinks that the police - at least at the federal level - are on the side of the people or of liberty need to think again.
They’re denying him his Miranda rights. Case closed, Bundy wins.
