As I warned you prior to the 1st Debate, there was good reason to be cautious about putting any trust in the polls. Herman Cain has been hammering this topic very efficiently, whereas Sean Hannity actually said he trusts the polls.
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A 'SCIENTIFIC POLL'. The average student having done well in any college level Statistics Class can tell you that. The 'margins of error' were blown out of the water so badly in 1996, they they can no longer be said to have any value. Who determines the margin of error? By what means do they calculate it? And why did 99% of polls in 1996 not only miss the mark but were completely outside their margins of error? A poll of even 20,000 people cannot be said to be accurate in a country of over 300 MILLION.
In my last post I warned you that the goal post would be lowered for Hillary, and with the excuse of any kind of win, albeit a purely debate win by scoring the most "points", or however, that this would unleash the skewed poll results.
But first we have to be properly brainwashed so as to accept this odd result, and so Hillary had to unleash what was apparently a pre-meditated crime of character assassination on Trump (ie: the gangster gal who was insulted) and having the moderator set up to be a "fact checker" to pummel Trump in the 2nd half of the debate to put him on the defensive. I'm sure Crowley must have been impressed. Here in America, Free Speech no longer exists on College Campuses or in Political Debates.
By the numbers, it went sort of like this:
1) Clinton Camp sets the stage with "War on Women" narrative. It never made any sense until now.
2) Clinton Camp sets stage by baiting Trump with Kelly's tough questions in line with "war on women"
3) Clinton Camp publicizes request for moderator to become a "fact checker"
4) Clinton sends signal for "fact checker moderator" to activate "OK, Fact Checker get ready to work on this one!" Afterwards, moderator starts hammering Trump.
5) Hillary sets off the "insulted woman" narrative with a last minute mention, followed by planned articles to activate the smear (character assassination) of Trump.
6) As days go by, we start getting articles like this one in the New York Times (click NYT link for the article).
All this just to make it seem reasonable for Hillarys numbers to go up when she is clearly not exciting anybody and she was just photographed weeks ago going into convulsions on the street. Something drastic had to happen, some shock and awe, some October surprise, something really big to get the bad news off the Front Page.
they have to have her leading in the polls to help them fix/steal the voting numbers
That’s right.
They need to manipulate the polls so they can match it with the voter fraud.
And .. just like with the Bush/Gore numbers, the LEFT will always over-inflate the DemoCRATS .. making it impossible to properly judge what the numbers truly are.
Just keep on .. keeping on .. and don’t worry about the polls.
Ignore all media
Get Out The Vote
If they do a truly random poll, and discover that the results don’t match what they have decided in advance is to be the R/D/I mix (e.g. 2012 turnout numbers), they have to throw away responses to achieve that mix.
Which responses are thrown away and how do they decide? Are they more inclined to toss “anomalous” responses, such as Democrats supporting Republicans?
Because polls have been used as propaganda with great effect, I can’t see how we just ignore them. We ignore them at our peril. Even if some of us here at FR are immune, our neighbors are not. We have to get the word out that the only important thing is that we vote, without allowing any media including polls results to demoralize us.
They have different formulas to make sure the sample matches the population (ie: if population is 49% democrat the sample of democrats is adjusted to match). Which makes the results SEEM to be scientific but there is just no telling who will win on Nov 8th. So it comes down to this: Polls might help candidates make decisions on where to spend money, but otherwise they are useful only as propaganda (voter suppression) which is exactly how they were used in 1996 to demoralize the Dole/Kemp ticket.
I think part of me is just going to be somewhat paranoid until the election is over even though I know and trust that God is in control and all things are according to plan.
I am sure both campaigns have internal polls on those bellwether counties.
The only way to figure out what is going on is to access to that data (hackers, hint, hint, hint :-) )
Why don’t we have a FREEPERS poll?
Until proven otherwise, any poll with somewhat valid internal breakdowns and a history of credibility needs to be taken seriously.
I can count a few times when this was ignored and we lost bad, like in 2006 and 2012.
Good post, good points.
But the only thing that really matters is that we ALL go and vote.
The rest is noise.
I’m not saying there was no fraud - there was.
But I’m duly souring your other statement - that the polls were right in 2012.
There’s no way you can ever confirm that because you can go back measure the voter suppression from demoralizing false polls. The aura of inevitability created by false polls is extremely powerful - it is the ultimate self fulfilling prophesy.
Since the poll is basically a prophesy that the republican is losing by a huge margin, then because republicans believe it, and are demoralized, and don’t bother turning out to vote, the prophesy is self fulfilled, and therefore proven “right” as you say.
But it wasn’t right at the time, it was a lie.
This is no different than the lies Clinton tells during the debate which are “fact checked” as “true”. Or true Trump statements that proven to be lies by so called “fact checkers”.
I think there is fraud but not on a scale as significant as the self fulfilling prophesy of false polls, which suppress republican turnout.
If Trump can somehow prolong his aura of winning so that his supporters remain excited and hopeful, and show up to vote - he will win in a landslide.
If the media succeeds in painting a picture that it’s over for Trump, he as no chance, - I’m really afraid a significant percentage of his support will move on and find something else to cheer about, maybe their favorite football team, and forget about Trump.
I hope I’m wrong. But meanwhile - don’t believe the polls if they begin to show Trump losing from here out!
Go Trump!!
Duly souring? Jeez. That was meant to be “disputing”
So what exactly are they basing any poll numbers about her anyway???
