Petition Pushes In-N-Out Burger to Sell Non-Burger Burgers
PJ Media ^ | September 23, 2016 | Tom Knighton

Is there a restaurant that you'd love to go to, but you don't like the kind of food it sells? No? Well of course not, because if you don't like the kind of food it sells, you just go somewhere else. You don't go to Chick-fil-A if you don't want to eat chicken, just like you don't eat at a Chinese food place if you want tacos and you don't eat Mexican if you have a hankering for sushi.

That isn't stopping one group of brain-dead morons from trying to force In-N-Out Burger to offer "meat free" options on its menu.

Irvine-based In-N-Out Burger is the target of a petition that demands the fast-food burger institution add a meat-free meal to its menu.

Launched last week on change.org, the petition by Washington D.C.-based Good Food Institute said the burger chain has been “letting its fans down by failing to serve anything that would satisfy a burger-loving customer who wants a healthy, humane, and sustainable option.”

Good Food Institute is a fledgling nonprofit that supports the use of healthier and sustainable food supplies. It specifically supports a food supply that shifts away from animal agriculture.

Allow me to translate that for you. Good Food Institute is a fledgling nonprofit made up of whiny vegan sad sacks who can't comprehend how anyone would prefer meaty awesomeness to their preferred diet of stuff meant for meat to consume.

Many vegans and vegetarians wonder why there's such intolerance towards their preferred eating habits, and this is why.

This is In-N-Out BURGER! The word "burger" is in its name for crying out loud, so why is it so important that vegans push the restaurant to serve something without a freaking burger in it? WHY?

The petition claims "fans" are bothered by how they can't get meatless meals, but I'm going to call BS on it. Fans of In-N-Out Burger are well aware that the chain sells BURGERS, which implies meat. People seeking a meatless meal are highly unlikely to go to a BURGER place when they want a non-burger.

No, the reality is that vegan crybullies can't cope with the fact that the world won't bend over and kiss their butts.

Vegans, you want power? Build your numbers high enough so that places will seek you out as customers or face oblivion. That is how you build market power, not with whiny petitions filled with signatures from people who have never darkened the doorway of an In-N-Out BURGER franchise in their lives.

Believe it or not, there was a time when McDonalds not only had the best French fries, made from fresh potatoes, but also had the best milk shakes, made with real ice cream.

That’s the only thing I do not like about In and Out. I tried the fries one time only. They tasted like deep fried card board. I got NOTHING from them. Even Jack in the Box serves better french fries. I go to In & Out for their burgers.

Veggie burgers are delicious with some bacon and a big piece of cheddar cheese on top. :)

Yep, many years ago a lot of places had great fries because of that.

Can we push In N Out to make burgers that are actually as good as their reputation? I can’t believe how over-hyped that place is. I mean OK, they make a solid B- product, but man people talk about them like it’s the best in the world.

Their success, in my humble opinion, rests somewhat on their simple menu. Once they start adding things they will become another McDonalds. Leave the menu alone!

It is amazing how they could start with good fresh potatoes and end up with blah fries. Love their burgers and shakes, though.

By the way, sports bars double fry their (thick) fries. They blanch them in the morning and refrigerate them, then fry them by the portion as needed.

I’m old enough to remember good fries at McDonalds. Canola oil killed them, I understand they use something like sucrose to try to make them crisp like they used to be. Doesn’t help, they still taste bitter from the canola to me.

Veggie burgers are delicious with some bacon and a big piece of cheddar cheese on top. :)

And lettuce and tomato and pickle and ketchup and mustard and mayo . . .

.

It takes a village garden to fake a burger.

Falafel is honest food. It isn’t trying to pretend to be meat.

I’d love to take one of these pansies there and watch their head explode when I order a 3x4 ANIMAL style with double-done fries.

No, I’ve tried In N Out fries repeatedly and they are bland bland bland. The reason why is the oil. Fat (oil) is what gives most food its flavor, and In N Out uses some kind of bland vegetable oil.

Go try some fries at Tommy’s down on Beverly and Rampart and tell me you can’t taste the difference.
