Hillary Clinton will “participate” in the Cleveland Labor Day Parade on Monday but will not walk in the parade. That would be exhausting.

She has 24 hour medical care. I find it amazing that her physician would let the edema get this bad without adding diuretics. However if her kidneys are also failing getting rid of the excess fluid in the body is difficult even with the diuretics.
I vote for Congestive Heart Failure complicated by poor renal function.

She is not physically fit for the job. Does she think her health will get better with the passage of time and the stress of the presidency?

I thought people that did yoga (and jam up their email with thousands of yoga tips) were generally in good shape. Since NONE of the recovered emails contain the word “yoga”, maybe she lied about that, too. Shocking, right?
If that is her and not fotoshopped the woman is chronically very ill. In her late stage 4 melanoma my wife had large tumor on her pancreas which led to abdominal and lower limb water retention. The ankle in this pic looks as bad as my late wife’s didbefore she entered the hospice. I cannot believe her daughter is allowing her to continue. This has to be Bill looking to play Mrs. Wilson to his wife’s Woodrow.
The woman sounds like she has congestive heart failure if she’s sweating and coughing after walking only four blocks...which is only about a quarter mile.

They could also strap her to a furniture dolly and wheel her down the parade route and still be able to do her bobble head routine and flail her arms at the crowd............
That is pitiful. She can’t walk four blocks? I am 59 and packed caribou four miles in Alaska. It took three trips for three men, and had to get the last one the next morning. Of course, I haven’t spent my last20 years sitting on the couch drinking either.
The kidneys can be working fine, but people with CHF can still have lots of fluid retention while on diuretics. If she has poor venous and lymphatic return, the fluid won’t make it to the kidneys to be excreted. You can injure the kidneys by getting rid of so much fluid that the blood pressure drops, but it’s all blood volume and not interstitial fluid. Compression stockings help. Leg muscles (walking...) are a major pump for fluid return too, but she doesn’t have the stamina for it. She looks like she needs cardiopulmonary rehab.
I didn’t know there was a proper spelling for a basically made up word. It must very from “urban paradise” to “urban paradise”.
Anyway I live in the DC area and have for almost 40 years. I know how people think here and what motivates them. During that period of time I have been and out of the “bureaucracy “ several times chasing the most interesting “techno-job”. I’m sorry but I do know these people. They have been co-workers, friends & neighbors.
Aside:(Truth in advertising here - I have always intensely disliked living here. I came because of the tech jobs. I met my wife here and successfully raised my daughter here. So it hasn’t been all bad and the jobs I have had have been interesting!)
So back to my response - If Zero would issue such an order 99.9999999% would sit on their ass do nothing and watch the show. The “true believers” that actually did something would be (another very high percentage!) of “snowflakes” that if you raised your voice would go to their “safe place” and call mommy. Any general officers who issued such an order would be laughed at by the “rank & file”. The “rankers” - ( to use a British term for enlisted) & more junior officers would know its an illegal order, find something better to do or in worse case officers would tender their resignations. These “Zero loyalists” would be like King Canute ordering the ocean tide back out! They would look like fools and that’s one thing these “generals” don’t want to look like! Their egos won’t allow it! Brezhnev ordered mobilization to crush the Poles, Russian junior officers & rankers had better things to do and didn’t show up. Similar things occurred throughout Eastern Europe, and the Iron Curtain fell. So you’re telling me American rankers & more junior officers are more robotic about orders then Russian & Eastern Europeans who had 2 to 3 generations of indoctrination.
Actually I am relying on human inertia which is built into our Constitution.
