While I disagree with the writer that Janeway was the best Star Trek captain, I did like Voyager and I did rather like Janeway.

The best captain, of course, is Captain Kirk.

I'm looking forward to the new series.

I hope she doesn’t get lost in the first ten minutes of the show.

I liked Janeway as well. I think Picard was the best, imo.

It doesn’t matter man or woman but how they read the opening.

The biggest problem with Voyager was Star Trek fatigue on the part of the public and on the part of the script writers.

Captain Janeway was not any sort of problem. If anything, she was one of the highlights of the show.

Janeway was a teenage boy’s caricature of being a harass, just like every feminist Hillary stand-in forever.

She was absurd.

I agree that Star Trek was the best, but something about people who kill their wives (ie: William Shatner) I find unappealing.

It’s a strange phobia, I know.

After all of these years and given the failing state in which we currently live... how am I supposed to give one single solitary rip?

Janeway sucked big time.

If they wanted a female captain or commander, they should have gone with T’Pol.

I hate to say it because I like TOS so much, but Star Trek has greatly contributed to setting acceptance of Globalist NWO in our national psyche. Gene Roddenberry intentionally did that and the force still continues. So sad for we fans to acknowledge.

FYI, the lead of this series isn’t supposed to be the Captain.

The story I read mentioned “lieutenant commander”; I presume she’ll be the XO, similar to Roddenberry’s first pilot episode.

If so, it will be the first Star Trek where the CO stays at station...you know, like they’re supposed to do.

C’mon Kirk was the best...I’m a man from earh. I could care less how powerful you are. If you mess with me I’m going to sleep with your woman and destroy you. Thanks for playing.

Nothing new, what the hell are these guys talking about like its a big deal, we already had a Female Capt already for it was Janeway on ST Voyager who was a decent Capt I would say though Picard was better in my opinion, these guys are late.

Genevieve Bujold was a better Kate Mulgrew.

Tachyons killed Voyager.

If you can hit rewind any time something goes wrong there's no real danger or action. One of the reasons I'm not that excited about first person shooter games.

Best part of Voyager was Eleven of Ten ... if you know who I mean ... and I think you do.

This is just more of the “girl power” junk. I’ve been noticing it more and more in the commercials.

No matter the household problem, the female always comes off looking like the smarter person in the room.

This is just unrealistic. The neutering of the male continues.

Just tonight, a new commercial of what to wear for the summer: prissy looking young guy; suit pants were too short; jacket was too short; jacket was too narrow - allowing the jacket to part at the lower edge of the hem. What does this expose - the “male” parts. Really ..?? And, the tie hanging down past the waistband and peeking out from under the buttoned jacket .. again pointing to the “male” parts. It’s a horrible look.

Most of these designers are gay men who seem to care only for making the males look like teenagers who have outgrown their new suit. All the male clothing seems to be hugging the body more .. gee .. I wonder why ..????

This look is not designed to attract women .. Hmmmm ..???

As for how females are portrayed; the less clothes the better. And the ads are getting more brazen about showing ALL WOMEN as the stronger of the husband and wife.

NOT ALL CHANGES ARE GOOD .. and these changes are not good.

I could not stand Janeway...she was awful.

Captain Kirk when faced with a difficult situation would find a way out by bending the prime directive just a bit.

Captain Picard when faced with a difficult situation would discuss options and then choose the best course he could, with great respect for the prime directive.

Captain Jayneway when faced with a trivial problem would twist it into a moral dilemma by expanding the scope of the prime directive beyond all reason.

I haven’t really liked the women on Star Trek except Lursa and Bator, the Naughty Klingons.
