What are the odds of Hillary Clinton winning South Carolina in November? Getting better, according to one numbers-cruncher.
Nate Silver of the FiveThirtyEight website currently lists Donald Trump as a heavy favorite in South Carolina, saying the Republican has a 58.8 percent chance of winning the state. But that number has dropped precipitously in the past week.
On July 30, Trump had a 84.9 percent likelihood of winning South Carolina in FiveThirtyEight’s projections. Since then, however, the odds have dropped steadily, a loss of more than 25 points over a nine-day period.
At the same time, FiveThirtyEight projects a tightening race in terms of vote totals, saying Trump has the support of 46.5 percent of S.C. voters to Clinton’s 44.8 percent, a difference of less than two percentage points.

I think the best thing to do is politely talk to our ‘on the fence’ family and friends. Especially the ones that are normally GOP, but are being shamed by the media into thinking Trump is a bad guy. Tell them about his good kids, ask them to cite an example of him being a racist. Mention that a few bankruptcies out of few HUNDRED companies he has owned is actually a good record.
If they like Hillary, ask them: “ok, sell me, tell me why you like her, tell me why I should vote for her instead of Trump?” Be honest, convince me! If they have some answers that they truly believe, fine, you can’t argue. Chances are, you will open a small crack in their mind as they realize she has never accomplished a SINGLE GOOD THING.

I think the post was a comment on the methodology used for the poll.
These people are insane!
We will see a daily barrage of these types of “news” stories based on skewed polling or just outright lies. They continue that daily here with the AJC pimping regular polls that have fraudulent internals. The online list of stories to select from are an ongoing re-hash of debunked Trump-is-evil stories along with how presidential TheHerness is.

While I agree its unlikely she will win here in Ga, I live in the outskirts of Atlanta, and they voted for Zero last time around... I was shocked.

.... There are serious rumors that Snowden may have activated a final Dead Man's "Kill Switch" code on Twitter a few days ago. He has not been heard from since. Rumors are that this may be his final dump and that he may have met his demise.
.... In any case .... The outcome of the information may be a Goldmine for one ... or even both of the Political parties. Time will tell.

The idea is to convince Reps to divert resources to safe states.
Yeh, yeh, yeh, Clinton will win in a landslide. She’ll win every southern state. Peolple are dying to elect the mentally crippled, pathetic, benghazi-killing communist. Even the redneck truckers and bikers love everything she does. She’s leading 99% to 1% in every rural southern poll, blah, blah blah. I got straightened out by edie1960 who made me “buck up” and disregard these polls conjured up in the studeios of ABC, NBC, CBS, Cnn, etc.

Is this your recommendation for determining who will win this election?
With as much dishonesty as there is with the media, democrats, and republicans, why would anyone think that the media who run the polls are scrupulously honest. They may get honest a few days before the vote, when accountability and prestige are on the line.
There are unprecedented efforts in key states to undermine the GOP nominee. In Ohio we have the damnable Kasich who is openly hoping for a Hillary win so he may oppose her in 2020. In SC we have Linda Graham. In AZ we have both Flake and the diabolical McCain. Kruz in Texas. etc.
This is truly a clash of The Establishment vs The American People - Trump has to keep framing it that way and not give up
The wild card might be the 6th congressional district, held by that genius & master of the universe James E. Clyburn. Remember that South Carolina is thirty percent black and that his is the most gerrymandered black majority district in the state & geographically the largest of all the districts.
It also has an amoebalike power to grow its borders. My house used to be in Joe Wilson’s district until one night it was picked up and moved into Clyburn’s.
Urban liberal techies are said to flourish in the Greenville-Spartanburg area, then there’s the whole Coastal Carolina strip which takes its politics from Pat Conroy.
Just my take but the Palmetto State is not universally conservative much that I wish it was.
