The only way an ex president can be oppressive is if he is appointed to the Supreme Court, and while that idea is being floated, I don’t think Obama wants the job.

Some outlets will figure out that giving him a microphone and ink will drive viewers and readers away. Some - the NY Times and MSNBC e.g. - won’t care.
