The closer and closer we get to the election, the more I see people harping on the theme "there's only x many days left until the election", "I can't wait until Obama isn't president anymore", "this error is almost over"........
Why?
Do you seriously expect Obama to go away quietly into the night just because his term is over? Because if that's what you think? I honestly wonder if you've not learned anything over the last 8 years.
This guy isn't going anywhere. Yes, he won't be president anymore. But you aren't rid of him. The nightmare isn't over, it's only just begun. Obama is going to be a very active, very oppressive post-president. So you can stop counting the days now. That's a waste of time and a false harbinger of hope.
You think Jimmy Carter has been an active post-president? As they say: "You ain't seen nuthin yet."

The media will flock to him and constantly get his opinion on “the disaster” and try to get him to tell everyone how the country “should” be run.

The only way an ex president can be oppressive is if he is appointed to the Supreme Court, and while that idea is being floated, I don’t think Obama wants the job.

Barack Obama will never go away either. For decades to come, he’s going to be out there. I’m sure he and Michelle have learned a lot from the Clintons, about how to parlay the presidency into a family foundation and all that, and how to become fabulously wealthy using their status and connections.

He is procuring a home in NW DC to live there post-presidency. Can’t move yet, we are told, because his daughters must finish high school before they leave town. Yeah. Right.
He will be seeking all the media venues to argue against ANY republican president and (gawd forbid) do all he can to make hidebeast toe-the-line.
Heck, he might actually go on the payroll of the MSM as a “contributor.” Might as well, as these MSM types will constantly run by him any and all presidential actions, to weaken any republican president.
He still poses a great danger for the next 5 months. I can’t imagine how many pardons & executive orders he’s waiting for the last minute to spring on the country.
It would have been truly good if he had done something for the black people in this country, instead of just agitating them.

They will even write his stupid speeches for him. No way they will let him just get up there and sputter like he does.
We will hear more from him out of office than when he was in thanks to a sycophantic and Odungo-worshipping media. The only upside is that no one has to pay him any attention. Some outlets will figure out that giving him a microphone and ink will drive viewers and readers away. Some - the NY Times and MSNBC e.g. - won’t care.
All president Trump will have to do is remind people he is having to clean up all of Obama`s messes...Obama`s people did this,Obama created this mess.Over and over for the first 4 years...
