Just watched Trump on O'Reilly and he expounded on the minimum wage.
Will someone in the know get to Trump and tell him to stifle his minimum wage talk.
This is a free market issue...not a state or federal issue.
what did he say? can you elaborate?
Minimum wage is the outlawing of lower paying jobs.
I do reject the premise of the minimum-wage. It should be abolished at the federal level and let states committ economic suicide if they want to raise theirs.
I think the minimum wage should be increased. 7.25 is too low. However, people should not be working at McDonalds for years either.
The alternative is welfare.
He came across as clueless.
And I am a long-time Trump supporter.
He’s on record saying it should be left to the states.
We need a scientific way of figuring out the minimum wage.
I think it should be attached to the price of a Big Mac.
I’m in favor of the minimum wage does that make me a communist.
Best comment so far!;-)

From an economic viewpoint, a government mandated minimum wage constitutes “collusion” worse than any monopoly would be able to enforce!
Why do you think unemployment should be increased?
Why do you think unemployment should be increased?
We don't need to do anything about it. We just need to abolish it at the federal level and let the states duke it out.
I think we should try a $100 per hour minimum wage for a while. It wouldn't take long for people to learn a lesson from it.
If supporting a minimum wage is the price of saving the Second Amendment, then I'm for it.
The minimum wage is a job killer.
Please study up on economics.
We would have to evaluate your other posts. But you are well on your way. :)
While I truly do sympathize with people who are trying to make ends meet, some work simply isn’t worth more than 5 bucks an hour. In a perfect world, people wouldn’t take the work unless it was worth their while, and the business would be forced by market forces to adjust their pay system accordingly. Obviously this isn’t a perfect world and that isn’t going to happen, but the solution still isn’t for the government to mandate that people must be paid 15 dollars an hour to flip burgers.
