Hillary Clinton said the security at the American compound in Benghazi, Libya, was not her ball to carry and admonished Republicans for politicizing the 2012 attack that left four Americans dead.
In her first joint interview with running mate Tim Kaine on "60 Minutes" Sunday, Clinton said while she took responsibility for the attacks because she was secretary of State when it happened, none of the nine separate investigations found her culpable.
"So when this happened in Benghazi, I immediately stood up an independent committee -- distinguished Americans, military and civilian experts. They came out and they said, "You know, the ball was dropped -- in security. And, you know, some of the decisions that were made, probably should have been rethought."
Clinton went on to say concerns about security at the American Diplomatic Compound in Benghazi

“The buck stops here” to “That ball better keep rolling”
This hag is simply irresponsible and unqualified to run anything.
Spoken like a true leader. Or let’s say our current leader.
No my job, Mon.
When Hillary realized that the attack at Benghazi might expose her criminal actions in Libya, she bravely ran to her bedroom and pulled the covers over her head.
C-in-C is definitely above her pay grade.
Didn’t she use a “Not ready to lead on day one” line against Obama?
She bravely ran away.
Isn’t it special that she gets her face on 60 Minutes.
So, whose ball was it to carry? And why did you not punish the people who dropped the ball and ended up getting your state dept employees killed? Why did YOU not avenge their deaths?
No controlling legal authority. ..
Kick the ball, point to an event during the Reagan administration, and whine that you are being treated unfairly.
It was a video. Americans must not say offensive things about Islam.
She said that it wasn’t her job to second guess those who were actually in charge of security. I thought Stevens was a close friend, but I guess not close enough to have her private email address so that he could contact her directly about the security situation he faced.
Actually, the whole interview with Scott Pelley was pretty pathetic. He tossed her softball questions about her feelings about the chants of “lock her up” at the Republican convention, and asked her about her feelings about being called Crooked Hillary.
Both Pelley and Kaine looked like Bata Males willing to squat on their haunches and groom her like a monkey.
Politicizing? listen you washed-up ugly-a$$ hag! you democrats didn’t care about the brutal murder of the ambassador and 3 others Americans, so Republicans have to care.
She set up a committee afterward to look into it. For someone who claims she will tear down walls, she is expert at stonewalling to wear everyone down.
I read somewhere last week that the video that was blamed had only a 100 views then. Anyone read that?
And this is why she shouldn’t be president. The president’s job is not to let others make decisions for him/her. It is to make decisions based upon information. I wasn’t given the opportunity to vote for her committee. They weren’t running. So it was her decision to make and she made it. And it was dead wrong because it was destined to get people killed and did. And she knew it. Or is this another “bump in the road?”

And it should never be Herself’s ball, to kick down the road and pass along to whomever the successor might be.
Even if elected (a dicey proposition at best), Herself shall never complete a full term of office, as the “burdens” will overwhelm her already fragile state of health, and Herself may have to spend whatever remaining time “in seclusion”. Translation, Herself shall have gone so bat-guano crazy that even the Democrat coterie surrounding Herself will become alarmed. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on steroids.
