Black Lives Matter Protesters close major street in Portland Maine

A group of BLM protesters have formed a circle in the middle of the very busy "Commercial Street" in the heart of the "Old Port District".
Police have blocked off all traffic on the street, which is normally jammed to capacity with cars and pedestrians on a typical Summer weekend night.
The protesters have declared they don't care if they are arrested.

LOL. There is no major street in Portland, and closing Commerical street disrupts pretty much nothing. There are parallel routes, just as convenient and fast.

They'll do fine. The protesters haven't blocked off all of Commercial, and most people park on a different street anyway. If you were on Commercial, and ran into this, just head west one block, go a couple blocks, then go back to the waterfront.
