The only molars I don’t have fillings in are the ones I finally had to have crowned.
I’m not sure my teeth are as much as 50% God-given at this point.
But there ain’t much gold in there (yet).

The above third post of the original Undead Thread, which went to the End of the Internet, was the impetus for launching us into space.
Everything that came after that, from the preparatory launch to the Moon, to our Pacific launch on the way to Mars, and eventually to our quiet and restful location here in the Asteroid Belt, was mere follow-through on that initial exceptionality.
Reading over the original posts now is rather saddening. So much charm and revelry, to quietly slip away into the strange limbo of cat pictures and recipe postings.
Ah, well, c'est la vie, as we used to say before the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.

James’s snaggletooth is officially called “peg lateral,” and it’s not an unusual dentition phenomenon, according to the pleasant and helpful Dr. Dhulab, who does our whole family’s teeth. James can tell people it’s a sign of vampirism or lycanthropy until he’s old enough to have something done about it.

I had started a story titled "Sweet Tooth". Maybe I should get back to work on it.
Nothing too fancy; time travel the easy way, it's set a couple of hundred years in the future.
Things will be different then, but what things? Go back, not two hundred years, but maybe four hundred. What has changed since then? What kind of corollary change could we expect to see in a few generations?

Another busy time when I have my head in a book. I’m always sorry to hear of a FReeper’s illness or death, and in looking at JeffHead’s site and his pics of the navy ships in San Diego just reminded me that with every single FReeper we lose, a tiny bit of history goes as well. Prayers for him.
What a cute little squee! I didn’t get up too early this morning, but I sure did want to sleep some more.
Zeke has been summoned to a “fair hearing” by the Suits at SNRHA, but they don’t want to give him a bus for “at least 20 people.” How “fair” is that? They are so afraid of him it isn’t funny. I promised him I would go, but I don’t want to.
I have to go to Wally’s and get cash this morning, and I don’t even want to do that. Charlie is going on the shuttle today, and said he will stop at the bank and get me some quarters, so I have to have the money for him. I also want to get some BBQ sauce to cook those tough ol’ pork chops in. I don’t know who Smith’s got their pork from this time but it was BAD.

I went to Wally’s to get BBQ sauce and cash, and forgot to get the cash, so I had to stop at 7-11 and use the ATM, which charged me $4 for the privilege. I can’t just get cash with that card — it has to be on the same transaction as a purchase. I didn’t have anything more to purchase, but now I wish I had made up an excuse.
I hope they will not cohabit, as I believe this is both practically unwise and morally parlous.
What we know so far is that her name is Delaney, she is 20 years old, she’s attending community college, she lives in a nearby subdivision, and he met her when “hanging out” with a group of people in which she was included.
If you're trying to imply that we've somehow become normal I shall have to ask you to step outside!!!

I for one, don’t like the “co-habit” idea either and think it is, in a way, dangerous. I hope they have a long and interesting relationship.
Have they known each other long?
If it’s all that surprising for BtS to have a girlfriend maybe #2 little ArGee will finally find someone acceptable.
