James’s snaggletooth is officially called “peg lateral,” and it’s not an unusual dentition phenomenon, according to the pleasant and helpful Dr. Dhulab, who does our whole family’s teeth. James can tell people it’s a sign of vampirism or lycanthropy until he’s old enough to have something done about it.

Welcome aboard, Peg!

I had started a story titled "Sweet Tooth". Maybe I should get back to work on it.

Nothing too fancy; time travel the easy way, it's set a couple of hundred years in the future.

Things will be different then, but what things? Go back, not two hundred years, but maybe four hundred. What has changed since then? What kind of corollary change could we expect to see in a few generations?
